What up!

Sorry for the delay. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! So where were we? Ah yea I was fucking up lol. So I dropped 6 beans and 1 decided it would just shrivel up and die. A 2nd one looking pretty close it. So I replaced the 1st one right away and the 2nd one I transplanted anyways...

I not sure on what caused their demise... maybe it was my tap water...maybe I should PH'd it first or maybe that plug just absorbed too much water and it drowned? I'm not sure...but it has giving me an idea I've been wanting to try. And that is to place them right into the ebb and flow system as seeds. This is what I did to my one replacement and it looks good so far. If it pops nice I will use that method from here on out as I am in complete control of that environment. Not so much when they are just sitting in a tray of tap water.

The remaining 4 are on their merry way and I'm excited for them. But my excitement is kind of killed off by the anxiety of the other 2. I may just replace the one but I said Ill give her until tomorrow. If she isn't looking better Ill drop a new one. Id hate to waste the $15 or whatever on another seed but its not worth it to grow it out completely and get shit yields which will cost me more money in the long run. I will be try to update on Thursday and I hope you all enjoy the show.

This is the one I am thinking about replacing.

Same nutrients/same light/ same temp/ same humidity etc. Keeping it simple and keeping it beautiful! :) If anyone has any questions feel free to let me know. Other than that enjoy the show peeps!

Topping
DSC_0012.JPG

Hello everyone!

Thank you for your patience with the updates, I am trying to juggle a lot right now. But today was the day to get some topping done. I do not like to hurt the girls, every time you remove even a leaf is time the plant must spend healing itself so I try to keep it to a minimum. The only reason I am topping this grow is I plan to scrog it out. I go right between the 4th and 5th nodes.

Those have been following know I got 4 on the same table and 2 that are around 1-1/2 weeks behind. That is why there is only 4 clips.

Also since I am doing an update I figured I'd share a few DIY fixes of issues I've ran into.

The first is my water filter. Its nice because you fully submerge it and it does it'd thing. But I also wanted it to aerate the water for me. So I used some empty water bottle to make it float. :)

Another issue I have ran into is stabilizing my LED's. Previously I have just relied on the power cords to maintain them from spinning but I got crafty and used some coat hangers to attach the 2 so they stabilize each other.

Also, in the first picture you will notice some cardboard by one the pots. That is just where the fan sits and I am trying to prevent wind burn on it since these damn fans are a bit strong lol.

Well that is all I have for now. I cant wait to get these babies stretched out and flowering. Happy Growing mates!

Hey Mates. Sorry I didn't have a mid week update. Its busy with the Holidays and schooling but I did that topping last week and I do believe it stalled them but they recovered quickly and started their run. I am going to give it about another 2 weeks before i throw the net across. The reason is, my netting is 6x6 squares so they need to have some length on them before it will even be practical. Id honestly love to have 3x3 netting but trying to find netting over 5' wide is damn near impossible. If anyone knows of anyplace that carries some please share with me.

Moving on to the plants themselves, i have the two that are a week or two behind. The one will be reading for topping maybe in another 2 days. The other girl is not doing anything. IDK what her problem is. She is not growing or dying. Just existing as she wants to I guess. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures. Until next time, Happy Growing!
