Well. . . you all were right. After trying several methods of testing things, including an Accurate 8 soil pH meter, I went the old fashioned way - pH test strips for my water. Those showed my water was starting out at 7.5 . . Adding nutes didn't do anything to bring it down. So, after pH downing my water, I did a flush. Then I did a feeding.
These picture are actually a week old at this point, but I am pretty sure that even with the flush, then a feeding with pH adjusted water, the growth looks more robust. Live and learn. I'll get some new pictures up tomorrow after I feed them, but since I had a window I figured I would throw an update up right now.
The Auto Elite #2, at this point, looks to be a week or two out from harvest, at most.
@mephisto can you tell what she is? Note - clearly thirsty - this is before watering/feeding.
The DBC is trucking along, too.
I also started a new seed - Dutch Passion - Star Ryder, in BioBizz Light Mix with BioBizz nutes. I will start a new grow journal on her and I also have some new Mephisto seeds en route.
Like I said, these pics are about a week old and I feel like things have improved greatly. We're gonna chalk these Spring 2016 grows up to some serious learning, tinkering, failing, and learning some more. Hoping I have figured it out and am looking forward to getting back to growing some healthy plants! . . .cause these look pretty sad, but better than they did!
