Mephisto Genetics 4 Plant Mephisto Grow. . . some early concerns

Thanks Mitch @mephisto! Excited to try some sour crack soon!

@mephisto (and others, too) - now that I know #1 is Sour Crack. All along I have said she is short. However, looking at other grows of Sour Crack, I guess at 13 inches tall, she's pretty normal for her strain. Would you say that's correct?

Here are a few rainy Saturday pics of the ladies.
Auto Elite #1 aka Sour Crack is getting close:

Auto elite #2 is starting to pack on the buds and getting a little bit frosty!!

This is a few days late, but here are a few pics and an update.

First, I chopped the Sour Crack (Formerly known as Elite #1). Small yield - probably about 1/4 oz when dry, but I am very excited about the bud quality.

Second, here is Auto Elite #2. She's definitely packing on the buds now. Given the slow and difficult start, I am pleased with where she's headed for sure. She is at 80 days

Third, here's the DBC. Much more scraggly plant than my previous DBC grow, which was massive. Not sure what the issue is, but we'll see what happens . . She is at 36 days.

I just ordered the full biobizz line. I am going for a full switch of nutes and grow medium to see what happens and test things out.

What are the temperatures like ? I've seen stunted growth and psimilar issues from cold weather.

Temps between 68-75.

Oh man, something seems to be seriously wrong in your grow room. There is none of the vigor we usually see associated with Mephisto genetics. You've got good lights, decent nutes and killer genetics but your plants basically look like they aren't being fed, so....

The first thing I'd do is check to see if my ph meter is properly calibrated.

@Nuggz, I've checked it all twice and then some. I am baffled. It's all consistent, pH is 6.5 or so. Can nutes go bad? Do they have a shelf life?

Again, totally baffled and if you look at my previous grows things went great!! Nothing has changed...

Well. . . you all were right. After trying several methods of testing things, including an Accurate 8 soil pH meter, I went the old fashioned way - pH test strips for my water. Those showed my water was starting out at 7.5 . . Adding nutes didn't do anything to bring it down. So, after pH downing my water, I did a flush. Then I did a feeding.

These picture are actually a week old at this point, but I am pretty sure that even with the flush, then a feeding with pH adjusted water, the growth looks more robust. Live and learn. I'll get some new pictures up tomorrow after I feed them, but since I had a window I figured I would throw an update up right now.

The Auto Elite #2, at this point, looks to be a week or two out from harvest, at most. @mephisto can you tell what she is? Note - clearly thirsty - this is before watering/feeding.

The DBC is trucking along, too.

I also started a new seed - Dutch Passion - Star Ryder, in BioBizz Light Mix with BioBizz nutes. I will start a new grow journal on her and I also have some new Mephisto seeds en route.

Like I said, these pics are about a week old and I feel like things have improved greatly. We're gonna chalk these Spring 2016 grows up to some serious learning, tinkering, failing, and learning some more. Hoping I have figured it out and am looking forward to getting back to growing some healthy plants! . . .cause these look pretty sad, but better than they did!
