Hey Gang,

I have been offline and out of the forum for a bit. But I am back in action and have a grow in progress.

My last grow was a successful Deep Blue C grow. For this grow, I've got 4 plants going:
- Deep Blue C
- SODK x Alien
- Then two plants from Auto Elite Mix. For now, we'll call them Auto Elite #1 and #2.

Lighting - Mars Hydro Reflector Series
Medium - Sunshine Mix #4
Nutrients - Roots Organics

Seeds Sprouted on March 10, so we're about a month old as of this weekend.

Here are the pics. All four under the glow of the LED:

Now a few things. This is my third grow. The first two were pretty flawless and straightforward. This one seems less so and all things remain constant from my last grow, which is strange to me.

A few questions:

- Plants are definitely growing at very different rates. You see the SODK is considerably bigger.
- More disconcertingly I have some yellowing.

You'll see that several of the plants have some yellow and brown edges on those early fan leaves. But that doesn't seem to have progressed in a while.

That said, take a close look at that SODKxAlien. Lots of yellow on the leaves. I thought perhaps it was a Cal Mag issue or Nitrogen, so I upped the both in the last feeding. I am not wanting to tinker too much so I am letting things take their time to see how she responds. From what I can tell, the new growth on the SODK still has that lighter yellow color.

Thoughts? Help?

What grow area do you have?

I wish I could help on the yellowing. Not real good at cana doctoring. Doing the SODK X Alien also. Goning to keep a close eye on this thread.
:karmacloud: and :vibes: may help, can't hurt.

Hey @BayLee420 - it's about a 4x4 closet that I built in the corner of my garage. Nothing fancy, but has worked well this far... Recent issues with yellowing notwithstanding!!

As for that - hopefully I'll figure it out. I've gotten some good advice and will do some follow up tomorrow after I feed them.

Fingers crossed!

OK, so i have been pretty bad about keeping this grow journal up. After the first two grows where things were quite simply a breeze, this one has been more of a roller coaster and I am not quite sure why.

You'll see in this thread over in the infirmary that the yellowing really got worse for two of the plants - SODK x Alien and the Deep Blue C. . Actually, the DBC was just an utterly stunted, struggling, runt. The SODK grew tall fast, but was weak, yellow in odd ways . . .etc. I tried a micronutrient spray that didn't do much of anything to help out. . . in the end, I killed them both and moved on.

Again it is worth noting, all things have remained consistent through my grows. I am using Roots Organics nutes, sunshine mix medium. pH is checking out just fine at 6.5 or so, using an Accurate 8 pH soil meter

I started one new DBC and it is about 10 days from sprout and looking good thus far.

That said, the two plants from my auto elite mix, are doing pretty well. Both clearly at their own pace, but doing fairly well.

The plant labeled #1 - looks the best. She's short as all can be 14 inches. But she's healthy and really starting to put some bud. Here she yesterday, at about day # 51 or so.

As for AutoElite # 2

She's progressing too, though at a slower rate for sure. She struggled early on, but things seem better for her these days. You can see some nute burn on some of the earlier/bigger fan leaves, but she has stabilized out over the past month or so. Bud production is a good bit slower, but you can see there are a good number of nodes starting to develop nicely.

I am also intrigued by the stark difference in plant color. #1 is dark green and #2 is a lighter shade of green, but to my still rookie eyes looks pretty healthy.

Anyway, this grow has certainly been a learning experience where the first few for me were like cruise control. In the end, I am trying not to tinker too much with things, because I am afraid that more tinkering leads to more problems.

I would be curious to hear what other folks, especially those Mephisto growers out there think. And if mitch @mephisto has any thoughts on how both of these are going or what plant they might be, I am all ears!

I'll post up more pics of the new DBC when she starts progressing along, as well. Right now, she's a happy little seedling!

And on other regards all the other seedlings - tomatoes, zukes, cukes, eggplants, salad makings, and more are just cranking along in my garage, waiting for transplant to the garden and the greenhouse . . . we actually already have about 90 tomato plants in our greenhouse in hydroponic grow towers!

Here are a few pics of the Auto Elite #1. Again, she is short 13 inches tall, and the yield won't be huge, but what but there is sure does look and smell quite nice!

I have tried comparing to pictures on the Mephisto site, but what she is remains a mystery to me.

I am feeding both ladies tonight and will take pictures of both and post with updates.

Fed the ladies tonight, including first feeding for the new Deep Blue C..

Here's a picture of her at 15 days

A few updates pics for little lady auto elite #1. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in fragrance. Looks and smells delicious!

OK. Update here.
First the two Auto Elite Mix Plants. Man, they couldn't be more different. Both are 67 days old.

Auto Elite # 1 -
Again, she's short, but great looking buds and smells fantastic. @mephisto any guesses on what she is? I think this might be the last feeding. Lots of yellowing of leaves. So maybe this feeding today and then flush next week, chop in 2-3 weeks.

Auto Elite # 2-
After a seeminlgy struggling start, she seems to have come around nicely. Lots of buds forming up. Leaves are sparse compared to my previous grows. Is that just her strain? Or something i have done? Anyway, she's about 18 inches tall. Definitely some time left on this one though. Where the plant above had a strong smell from the start, this plant has almost no smell unless you put your face right up in there, even then it is mild and citrus.

And then here is the second DBC after I scrapped the previous one of this grow. She seems to be off to a much better start. Here she is at day 23:
