As for weight I'd say a pound. 3x3 is tough, the height with a big lec hood is tougher. I'm very surprised they didn't grow right into it.
I personally grow in a larger room but use flood tables to keep things clean. They have drains to outdoors for runoff Ext. But my trays are 3x3 as well. I used to run 4 plants then lowered it to 3 and now 2 plants per 3x3 what I have noticed is no decline in yield but less operating cost. Less soil, nutrients and time with less plants. They will grow and grow, the only thing that slows them down is space so my thought for you is to possibly cut out a few plants next run and I think you'll be very happy. Can't wait to see the yield.
