Dutch Passion 3x AutoUltimate in Plagron growmix

Hi @Ayyylmao , AU is a great strain, and she responds really well to training. Top at the 5th node, and a week later tie her branches down (thanks @pop22) to get a nice wide bush, or just bend/pull her main stem over for a week or so to allow the side branches to push on up and then tie them down too. She can go on for quite a while, easily over 100 days if you train her, I believe that any kind of training, topping, bending the stem, etc. delays the start of flowering while the plant sorts itself out, and any delay to flowering, means more time in veg to grow the root system, and the plant overall.

I've had a lot of good feedback on the final product as well, everyone has loved it so far! Not the densest nugs, but a decent amount of crystals and good smoke. Good luck mate!
yeah ill second that opinion. topped/fimmed and trained the hell outa mine and never seen flowers till around day 60. theyre still only 21" lol. i also used root boost (against manufacturers recomendation) untill then aswell and ive got some serious mass down under : )

hey buddy subbing up : )
ive got 2 of these on the go aswell. theyre crazy like. chop em up, tie em down, punch 7 bails out of them. do what you want, they love it. im currently chopping off well over 200 leaves a week theyre growing that vigorously. your in for an awesome ride mate. im looking forward to seeing your progress. is this your first grow?
Yes, this is my first grow, I will post an update on my plants later today (spoiler: I messed up with the biggest one of them), thanks for subbing :welcome:

training and general abuse is good for them mate but ill warn you now. top/fim makes them bush out like mad... training makes them further bush out like mad. ive tried to count my tops a few times, theres 70-85 i reckon. sounds good but its a nightmare on the upkeep. training, chopping every other day. it can take up hours at a time. ill be trying to stretch them before and after the top/fim next time before i start training.
@A-Train and @autobeast also have some cracking grows that might help you improve your strategy. as does @jingo. hes probably the most consistent indoor soil/coco grower ive found so far. really impressive results but without much (if any) training.
this is an awesome site mate. if you do your research and learn how to search what your looking for correctly then there isnt an answer that cant be found. keep it green man :vibe:

....... To illustrate what they do, here's 3 AU's I have going. They are all in Mapito filled XL autopots.

[HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG], 63 days old, every branch supercropped at least once except for the main stem/cola, 106 cm tall from soil

[HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG], same age and treatment except msin stem supercropped lightly a couple of times (without the 90 degree snap), notice the side shoots on the main stem has been tied down to prevent one massive fused dense cola, which might be pretty on the outside but doubtful on the inside ......

[HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] is e weeks younger, day 41, and is grown in a 3rd style, every branch is supercropped out to the cage and grows up on the outside and most leaves within the cage is constantly removed.... This way requires angled lights during bloom. She is 108 cm tall and adding 3-4 cm daily , I'll have to do something on the main stem soon me thinks or I'll run out of airspace....

There's a link to my rookie AU grow in my signature.... I lost the battle badly...... Bruised but wiser.....

It's a day late but anyways, here is the update. Day 26: yesterday I fucked up, my biggest plant snapped it's main stem in half, I tried to reattach is, but my cat must've ate a part of it, because I can't seem to find the upper half of the plant, and there's barely a plant left. The other 2 plants are doing just fine, I started giving 0,5mL/L Fish mix to all 3 of them yesterday. The only problem I'm dealing with right now is that the weather is bad.

i topped one and fimmed the other. the fimmed one is about 3/4 of my total mass and the main stalk is double the girth. theres other things involved with it like as it took me a while to figure out my set up but ill be fimming them next time. it stunts them a bit so dont worry if they slow down for a few days. theyl explode shortly after. just be nice to them when theyre in recovery. i went for 4th node and all was well.

to be fair unless your struggling for height im sure most would advise against it. theyll be bushy enough with just some lst mate. my tents only 165cm and any expansion will be 120cm so gotta keep em low or theyll bake.
