Indoor 3rd Time's a Charm!

If I went with anything I would probably go with something like this that fits pretty perfectly in my cab.

Actually found a reviewer that has basically same height as I do and this is helping lean my decision to this reflector series light. What do ya'll think? Would this light I posted be an upgrade to my CFL hood?

I'm using this in a CloneLab tent which is only 4 ft in height, plant was happy under this light and it doesn't burn the plant when it gets too close to the light, this is perfect for those who have limited vertical space. I'll be getting a Mars II for another tent soon since I'm so happy with this Reflector series and their customer service is just as impressive!

Yea you need to keep the actual watts (power draw) in mind. I think you can't go wrong with either light. I personally think the old model is the better deal but then again the reflector can save you some elec during veg.


My original tent was 4x2x4. Damn I regretted that one real quick lol. I had my 300w old model in that tent and it worked just fine so either way you will be good. I don't even know how many watts of cfls you have but i'm willing to bet 1 of these leds will out do it even if the actual watts aren't as high as the combined total of cfl power. for one the leds have way better penetration and wide spectrum range.

I'm pretty much sold here Anasazi! I like the wider coverage of that reflector I linked as well!
I got 400W of actual power draw on my CFL's. You're thinking the 96x3W (170~200W actual) would be a good, if not better, alternative to my CFL's?

And since your fine on being pretty close - I just don't want to get something and then when they are 6" from the LED they arn't getting roasted, ya know?

Yea man I just went and measured how far away my lights are from the tops of my tallest girl. My current tent is 3x3x6 and I still lowered the lights a lot. They are 6-7 inches away from the top colas and the girls are having zero problems with it. I will say though that I have 2 small clip fans in my tent and I keep 1 pointed at each light so there is that air moving between the light and the colas.

Not to mention the lst or scroggin you could easily do too.



I think you will fucking love that led man and I hope you get it before your next grow! I can't wait to see how you do with it. ;D

Before my next grow - not happening. I already got beans brewin', bro! They should be ready for planting tonight.

However, I can easily swap lights within the next 2 weeks, and pending a PM from Tina, I'm ready to pull the trigger! Thanks for checking out your space for me bro. It really helps when people can provide me some real world info instead of just spec sheets if you know what I mean haha. Yeah so my plan is getting one ordered and on it's way very soon. By time I get it my babies will be ready for some better light!

My pocket book hasn't been to happy with me lately saying that I'm spending too much on weed growing and that I need to start spending more on other things like bills. lmao.
