Nice herbal! Can those hygrometers be calibrated? I just ordered the Caliber IV and I'm going to do the same test. Those enhanced living ones are on point, where u get those from? I got my thermometers at walmart? Hope mine are as accurate as those.

- placed this plant on its own without air circulation and 1 2700k cfl
- placed wax paper under the plant but over the cup to catch the droppings
- ill be keeping my eye out and checking for pollens daily :thumbs:

some burst pods but empty/very little pollens

hoping that she produces enough for me to collect and use for the future crosses

thoughts on the best way to collect/store pollen?!

*ill be using the free vials ive received adding grain of rice in the bottom for moisture*

this hygrometers CANNOT be calibrated (i just attached tape with the difference written on the back)

nice pick up with that caliber iv! that is adjustable :thumbs: very very god choice! should be very accurate as well.
ill be picking up one of this when money allows it (after my upgrade! -- planned on getting the caliber III way back when but never had the chance)

as for the enhanced living -- ebay bro (for cheap -- and it comes with a monitor as well) $15-20

you can have up to 5 sensors -- 100ft radius.

Have you tried using tweezers to get the sacs?
I dont even really know how you harvest pollen from a reversed female to tell you the truth...

actually took the samples from the bottom :thumbs:

came out with about 1g +/- and will be smoking it tonight!

just collected some pollen the other day using tweezers (to hold the bananas) + paper clip (to agitate the pollen out of the sacs)

probably came out with a paint brush worth! lol

i say go for it bro if you have the cash to spend

- it will reduce the unecessary noice from the full powered fan
- lets you control the intake/exhaust = environment

love the constant updates! :smokebuds:

the pollen collection attempt #1

not the most pollen but it should be enough for a branch

separated the layers above the foil and then into the container (thank you eppendorf 0.5ml tubes)
- couple rice grain is then added inside the container for the moisture
- fridge for 3 hrs then off to the freezer inside a ziploc bag

been reading that its harder to collect pollen from reverse plants
- resulting in fewer pollen dust
- tighter bananas (have to force the pollen out -- they dont burst like regular males)
- will continue to collect pollen as the balls starts to open up

----

tips and tricks to self:

- will be using a brown bag to collect the pollen next time (will be easier to see the pollen dust and collect)
*used foil/wax paper last time -- pollen blends in*
- make sure to remove all the plant matter :thumbs: :check:
