Hey everyone!
Hope you're all well.

Yes I did. I've bottom-up lollipopped her continuously, as the lower leaves and buds wouldn't get enough light in my small cab.
As soon as I see lower leaves yellowing, I cut them off. I also removed some of the most airy buds at the bottom.
Might have slowed her down a little, which isn't a bad thing as I will need to have dried the GSC before I harvest Green Crack (small drying place)...!
I did do some research on pruning, defoliation and lollipopping and it seems that a little bit once in a while actually helps the plant fatten those buds :)
Interestingly, it seems a highly controversial topic, if not the most controversial topic about growing ganja...!
Peace,

Yeah that's probably my worst fear is stuntin the growth. I actually haven't grown yet just doing my research watching tons of YouTube videos, books, Google, etc trying to learn as much before I get my feet wet. Just want to be ready for the growing industry when it goes nation wide and have a chance in the newer states recreational part. But enjoyed your thread thanks a lot

Thank you!!
Yes I totally get what you mean - I started about 3 months ago and I was a bit anxious at first, also doing tons of research, etc.
BUT I have to say that nothing's better than learning by practicing in this case. Because growing beautiful plants is more an art than a science! I spent a lot of time reading articles and stuff, and was a bit worried. Many people ('negative' people, that is haha) make it sound like it's very hard, etc, and just want to discourage you. But it's really like everything in life. You just go how you feel. And it almost always ends up well. Joining AFN was by the way one of the wisest decisions I made!!! Being able to share your experience with pros is really reassuring and truly supporting in many ways. And a good way to make new friends! Here I found feeding schedules, advices and recommendations of any kind, kind people willing to take some time helping you, etc. Truly amazing AFN ;)
Autos seem more forgiving than photo strains so it could be easier for a start too (that's one of the reasons I chose autos...). They basically grow themselves, as long as you take good care of them by feeding them regularly, and by having them in an environment in which they can feel good :)
I cannot stress enough how important the environment is. This is where practice comes in. Because the environment in which you will grow your plants will be unique (a unique function of different variables, such as RH, temperature, airflow, lighting, etc), the way you will take care of them also needs to be unique, as it should be adapted to both the environment and the plants' needs! So it's not really possible to truly know how it will go before actually trying out :) Intuition has helped a lot I have to admit..!
Anyways, looking forward to seeing your first grow brother!
Peace,

Now thats what I've been waiting to see 4th pic down excellent shot of a purely beautiful nug
Nice work man
Just wondering have you given her any added cal-mag along the way?
I've never run an auto but see almost everyone on AFN using alot of it.

Thanks a lot man!!!!
Yes I do give her some from time to time, but I don't even feed CalMag at 1mL/L, just a bit less!
Usually I don't use it if there is no need to, except maybe for week 5 or 6, when I think she might need it the most!
I am still new at this but I find that feeding not enough is better than feeding too much!
Thanks for passing by!
Peace
