New Grower 300w LED Growboard vs 1000w HPS

ive bought a led light from a friend. The website claims it replaces 1000w HPS but my friend claims it could replace 2 x 600w HPS based on yields. Its not like my friend to oversell things... however i'm having a hard time believing this.
Its actual wattage- 300w.
"High power diods" 2w/diod
Red/Blue: 8:1/7:2
Colours: red/blue - 660/460 nm

Is there anyway that it could possibly replace even 1000w HPS?
I know nothing about led lights...

Of course it's a lie, no 300W led light puts out as much light as a 1000W hps.
The most efficent led lights are around 65% efficent so there would need to be at least 400-500W for the same amount of light.
And the most efficent are specific cobs(Cree CXB), not the red+blue ones you find all around which have 20(red)-40%(blue) efficency.

I say return it and don't believe such claims from no one, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence

I hope you didn't pay over the odds for it,as that would make that friend not much of a friend.
