New Grower 3 Day Seed did not sprout

Should I put the cup once it breaks out ?

I plant straight into 3 to 5 gallon pots with clear covers over the seed. Once they pop out, I give them another week (give or take) under the cover just to get some roots established before the fan breeze hits them.
I like the greenhouse effect it gives, especially with my low RH desert environment. Some cover longer, some not at all. It's personal preference. In the summer I have to cover or they dry out too fast.
On the light cycle, I've had the best luck with a 20/4 or even 18/6 schedule. At least for me, giving the gals a break works well. I try to time lights out for the warmest time of the day. :peace:
It's a fun journey, and everyone eventually finds what works best for them :d5:

I think I might go with 24-0 but do u think it's safe to run the lights 24-0 for 2 month or can I have 1 hours dark ??

Should be fine. I run min 18/6 hole life and get great results. No need for a cup. Too much humidity and she will rot out. Just wait for her to pop out and let the pot dry out some so her roots hunt for water. There should be a hole thread about germination..paper towels zip lock even cable boxes. Lol the hole thing with growing is research and finding what works right for you.

True that on the cup for many places, but we're super dry here. I have a humidifier running balls out right now in the middle of an ice storm and struggling to maintain 27% RH
DAB! :bighug::pass: How doin', Brother? :d5:

RH is 45 stable . I put a cut bottle is it a good idea or should I remove it . Also the led lights are far away should I bring it closer to the plant .. Veg lights 70cm away from seedling

Thanks

45-54%
Not sure about when watering again I might go with everyday watering to avoid hight RH

You need high humidity for seed germination and I would step back from watering if you have a heating mat you can put it underneath there and cover your seedlings with a plastic top until they pop

Wish I could see the pics, Brother, but I'm kinda blind :cools: Congrats on the baby though!
I think most folks running 400w + LED set the about 30 inches above the plant, so it sounds like your in the right neighborhood.
As for water, this is where the art comes in. How wet is your soil? You want damp, but not soaking wet, and allow it to dry between waterings. If your soil is soggy, by all means uncover her. The # 1 killer of seedlings (IMHO) is too much water. It's a lot easier to add it than to remove it.
And try not to water based on days... get used to letting your plant and soil tell you when it's time. Temps, RH (sounds like you're doing great there), size of the gal and even what phase she's in will change how much she needs.
I've had to move big chunks of compost from time to time with no ill effects. These are tough little babies
