I currently have a diesel ryder with 3 cotledons and want to know if anyone else has this and if it affected the yield in a positive or negative way?

Most of us growers have had a triple mutation a time of two....just grow it. No big deal....

Whats nd?

My seeds are Joint doctors female Diesel Ryders. It looks like the 2nd set of leaves are a pair, so maybe it will turn out to be normal

Ok now the 2 set of leaves was a pair and now i'm back to 3 leaves on the 3 set. Also the 2nd set of leaves are curling down with slightly lighter green and tiny bit yellow at the ends of the 2 set of leaves. What could this be?

well sounds like you have a triploid plant mate... kinda cool.. got one i have my eye on in my chamber myself atm... a purple kush photo....

sounds like your ph might be out... can you put some pics up so we can see n diagnose?

It is 9 days old DSCN0584.jpgDSCN0582.jpg

Here are the pictures, what do you think is the problem? Thanks loads

Are PH tester strips of any use? Are there eaSY ways other than buying ph up and down to change the ph?

It could be a minor nute burn from over fertilized soil. Depending on what you used as a soil a lot of soils are pre ferted and can cause problems for a young canibus seedling. I would def invest in a PH tester so you can dial in the exact problem. The pics also show drooping of the leaves, possibly from over watering. If they are firm and drooping it's over watering if there dry, brittle and drooping it's under watering. To me they look plump and over watered and possibly over nuted from the soil. An easy fix with a PH meter and time. Congrats on the mutant btw lol

Thanks maul and CC

The soil was organic with added organic fert, the only reason I got it was because I couldn't find any with out ferts. The leaves have perked up a bit today so I am hoping it will be ok soon. I did put a load of perlite and vermulite in the mix though.

Also the cfl's I have were placed at the sides and now I've put them overhead. Do you think this could of made the plant move the leaves down to absorb the light?

Do PH strips work for testing soil ph?
