Dutch Passion 2Stoned2Care Does DP AUTO BLUEBERRY+Autopot

Nice to see someone else has read the same sort of info i have.i see people say nice dark green leaves means a healthy plant but its just to much N and hence claw and other problems.also this 20/4 16/8 light schedule thing is rubbish if you ask me,cannabis plants are c3 plants so only collect co2 when its light not dark,c4 plants collect co2 in the light and dark, the only reason to do different times is electricity cost or 12/12 photo period plants.i also agree with no flushing because even if you do flush its not getting rid of any nutes because its still gets them from the leaves this is why i am not flushing this grow.and this rubbish with ph i have never ever checked my ph in 3 grows and the only problem i have had is cal/mag def.all the other problems i see are overwatering or over feeding or ph problems.i just used common sense with the ph rubbish because nothing in nature or grown(cannabis apart) by us is ever phed.i read somewhere that the plant/trees roots change the ph of the feed to suit what nutes they need at that time and constantly change the ph to keep things balanced so when i see people with problems i think its because they are keeping the ph at a certain lvl and dont let the plant do its thing
your definitely on to some thing with your light feeds especially with autopots were the food is always available :slap:

Thanks for the slap my friend.yes these autopots are great the plant just takes feed when it needs and as you say its constantly available and the amount the plant drinks with the autopots means its getting alot more nutes than it would if hand watered so no need for lots of nutes

I haven't flushed a plant in three years other than a couple done to provide a sample for comparison. 20 people couldn't tell the difference, not a one.

you and @pop22 should have a chat he doesn't flush his plants I haven't flushed my last 3 after a good cure no one whos sampled it can tell the difference  have a good old rep slap for the info :slap:

I agree with most, but, on ph there are considerations as to when it is or isn't needed. In soil, unless your water or nutrient solution is way off, your right. But. water from the tap can be WAY off, I've seen mine hit 8.2! AND, I've seen mine kill plants quickly! outdoor plants are not a valid comparison, their "pot" is unlimited... any ph adjustments they do are very minor, spot tweaking. In a restricted envirnoment, even organic soil can take a dip in ph that can cause problems, there is no predicting what a soil micro-ecosystem will do, they get sick too.

Ph'ing soil itself? Yep, waste of time. You see the signs in soil in plenty of time to just feed water at 6.8 to 7.0 until the issue resolves. There's no fixing a damaged plant, so flushing the soil is a waste of time, flushing causes an already damaged plant to starve when it NEEDS nutrients!

I ph all my water. Is it worth it? Damn right it is! I'd have 4' plants giving me 5 grams dry if I didn't......

Hey pop I have exactly the same problem like you. My tap water is 8.4 :cuss: I would love to be able to adjust the PH of my water if there would be a truly effective organic way of doing it, but unfortunately there isn’t. Every organic PH down that I tried (citric acid, vinegar) was ineffective and unstable to keep the PH of the water where I needed it. I don’t want kill my beneficial soil bacteria with phosphoric acid…so my hope is that my 15 L airpots filled with biobizz light mix have enough buffering abilities to keep the PH in an acceptable range until harvest with the help of beneficial soil bacteria that I have my plants loaded with :eyebrows::eyebrows::eyebrows:

So what light schedule do you prefer? For my first two grows I used 20/4 all the way, but now I am doing 24/0 untill the girls show me the preflowers and then I'll switc´h down to 20/4

What do you think your water is doing to the microlife?? Ph it with whatever works. I use phosphoric acid. Water ph'd wrong with it, yep it will kill them. compost worms don't like too much acid either. I have red wiglers for making worm castrings and I put a few in every pot over 1 gallon. I look for them when the plant is done, it tells you how healthy your soil is/was. I always find a couple. Part of the problem is people's knee-jerk reaction to the word: chemical. Well what about Organic Chemicals???? just like the plain truth is, your plants don't give a damn what you feed them, as long as they can use it! Also, there are NO organic minerals.... they are chemical compounds and or elements, being found in nature doesn't make them organic.

A lot of people don't know but, mineral based nutrients require chelation to be usable. Most are chelated using organic means. The problem with bottled nutes ( mostly ) is the crap they add. Vitamins and hormones are more toxic to your plants than 90% of the "chemicals" used in nutrients.

I grow organic because its simple and and works consistently. I'd say my organic grows are pretty much all the same, I know what to expect from my plants. But I also grow in coco with Growmore nutes. no one has ever been able to tell the difference, and I tested with 20 people. Not a one could tell.

ohh and here's my greenhouse grow, all organic, RO water with GH ph down and or baking soda for ph up. Soil must be healthy, the plants are!
