why do you only ponytail for 4 hours only? Do you do this daily? do you ever top and super crop the main colas to go sideways? if you werent doing a auto would you crop in a different way to give the plant more time to recover?

Hi bro i only do it for 4 hours because i dont want to restrict vertical growth to much and 4 hours seems perfect,i do it everyday for about a week.go back and check out my brooklyn sunrise grow you will see that i do supercrop and lst to keep the canopy even,i have only ever grown autos but photo periods will take any abuse bro because they have tons of time to recover

You are always welcome bro.yes just plain tap water in the res going to see how far she goes before needing nutes,i cant remember where i read it(i read so much about growing)but he said all the problems he sees are over feeding related and this is the only problem i have ever had with slight nute burn even though i never went over 1ml per ltr last grow,i want those lovely light green buds i see not dark green n toxic buds from overfed plants

Hi and welcome my friend,the ponytailing helps get light to the side branches so they can grow even with the rest of the plant and with some lst you get a monster bush that you can controll the height of easily.

Well, I was watching this thread, but no notifications mate. I did ponytails on my two plants for about the same amount of hours. I've heard others say that if you do it for longer, the fan leaves your tying up can become enormous
