Indoor 2nd Thoughts; Round 2 With THINK DIFFERENT

Thank you guys for stopping through to check on my little lady's progress!
Medi, I agree. The symmetry of young cannabis plants is one of the amazing things that make them so interesting! When you look at them from the top down, it's unbelievable how perfect they can look!

Quick observation: I know I'll drive myself crazy with comparisons, but I can't help it. This plant is about 2" shorter than my other plant was at this point. Once the stretch starts, I'm thinking this one will gain ground, though. Gotta jet! The 9-5 beckons! :poof: I'm out!

Didn't think of that, but now that you mentioned it, I'm gonna check the dates tonight. If the dates are fine, I'm not sure what else to check. The fact that I'm putting a pump and stone in the water prior to mixing the solution shouldn't make a difference, should it?

Yeah, about 2 weeks ago. When I would put it it normal water, the numbers would shoot up to 8.whatever, but when I put the meter in the solution, it would stay down around 5.5, no matter how much pH Up I put in there! Never had this problem before.

Bandit I've noticed that at different times during the grow cycle it takes a lot more effort to get the PH in my res to move up or down. I don't know why but there have been times when I keep adding either PH up or down until I finally get the result I am looking for. If you figure it out please let me know.

Could be just a phenotype thing, maybe has more indy influence or gets growth spurts at different times etc. Nothing much you can do except keep an eye on it and see if you find a sign/reason for it.

I figured it out, alright! Turns out that I had mistakenly grabbed the chelated iron, instead of the CalMag, and was about to screw things up! Once I got things right, the pH adjusted with no problem. I've heard hydro growers speak of the same issue you're having, though. I wonder what the reason would be for the pH being so hard to move?

Those 3 things you mentioned are pretty much what I was thinking, also. Well see if she hits a growth spurt in the next few days

At the end of the day they are just like everything else in nature..they can be tall..short..fat.skinny. whatever mother nature see's fit. Look at my AK's. ..same strain..in the same pot obv under same conditions yet one is like 4 inches taller then the other...both planted at the same time. We can only control soo much. The rest is out of our hands I guess. Lol

Exactly. Life would be dull without variety!

The symmetry in your plant is jarring it's so perfect man, crazy.

How about this symmetry...
