Lighting 2nd Grow: Rapid Afghan and Easy Ryder, Airpots, CFL

PLEASE HELP! This morning I woke to find what looks like powdery mildew on my ER, spreading lightly to the RA. I turned off all of the fans and I'm trying to get the temps up real high. I've read that about an hour at over 100° would kill the mildew. Either way, after that hour, I'll be removing lots of infected leaves and spraying the plants down with a solution of:
1 gal water
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp liquid soap

This is the best my camera would do:

It's not mites. Under the microscope, they look like trichomes, with a very slim stalk and a milky white head. FuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuckFuck

Get this in the infirmary Noods. I don't know anything about powdery mildew but those guys are very good.
I hope things turn out good man.

Well, I'm very pressed for time and felt that I HAD to do something quick before I go to work. So I cut out the infected foliage. I hope this doesn't stunt them too much or have a grave impact on my yield. I guess a small healthy yield is better than a large sickly yield that ends up in the bin.

I mixed up the above mentioned spray and got it up under all the leaves and really saturated the girls. I let pretty much all of the drips drop off and then back up in the cab with them, full lights and fans.

I really am stumped by this. I have really good ventilation, temps are great and humidity is low. So where the blazes is this sh*t coming from? My guess is the wet leaves, after foliar feeding, bunched up against each other (plant on plant) and against the wall of the cab. The ER is "crunched up" the most, being the runt. I would rather not favor one over the other, but the Afghan is my favorite, so she gets more room and light. My DIY lights, cramped space, and the plants' differing sizes won't allow an equal treatment.

I'm so bummed about this right now. I need to get to work, light one up and concentrate on work related matters. Then after I get home twelve hrs later, hopefully things will be better looking.

Oops! This may have been cause of my oddly spotted leaves all along! Crap. Can't believe it didn't occur to me. Guess it never got worse so I stopped worrying. How bad could this be if it's in my buds?! Sorry man. Glad u spotted it early

Neem oil mate. Get some asap and you can use it on an already infected plant. you have done the right thing with the temps, above 80 it struggles to infect new area's but each spore of the fungus is constantly producing more spores. Neem oil can kill it though.

Also on a daily basis, just after yer lights have come on, get each plant out and sray them down with plain water. shake em off and get em back in making sure theres enough airflow to dry em off.

Your also gonna need to give the growroom a clean. get it dienfected.

If it's in your buds, you can trash them. I doubt if it was what you had though, because it spreads and gets spiderwebby, and you would have known that something is seriously f*d up. I seem to recall something about a water-cure helping infected buds, but I don't ask me where it was. Sorry if this scares you Prez, but it's unhealthy as hell if you smoke it.

Thanks riz! That's why I hate Sundays! lol Otherwise I would be out getting some Neem oil. I'll definitely be getting some tomorrow. I also have time tomorrow to disinfect the whole cab. F*n Bummer.

the home recipe ye used should be good enough so ye can wait for the neem oil, but neem oil will almost definately bring it under control within 24 hours. If yer doing the home recipe again, use less soap ;). it's half a tea spon per 1 tablespoon of baking soda per gallon :D
