I will Google them numbers and see what's it all about
I will be back to ask lots of simple questions about this I am sure ,,,,,
I just went to AliExpress site, and searched for "Arduino" plus each of the sensor numbers.
These are just a couple of $$ each. Hmmm..................
yeah, real el cheapo. Just follow those instructables and you will be fine, once you get it you can change and add sensors as many as you like

I just looked at them sites and thought wtf lol,,,,no it will take time but I will eventually get my head around it
,,intresting ain't it I going to check it all out ,it's a great idea ,,, it's worth a try at some point even for a cave man like me :smoking:

grow 2 underway and looking good
5 degrees difference within a 2x2 is considerable,and you swapped sensors to cross check.water can retain heat quite well,could one pot have been a lot heavier with water ?
i follow a few guys on utube that play about with ardwinos and pies,but im not computery,i do love a good theory or a hypothesis,nice work you doin
am i right in thinking a camera could be rigged up to for some time lapse action ?

yes interesting and 5 degrees is a lot and temp in the root pouch is even less then temp that comes from outside the cupboard! I couldn't believe it myself but I'm 200% sure temp is correct after switching sensors. Its the only theory I have. A Rout Pouch is a fabric mesh so soil is in direct contact with the air around it, that's the reason why it should be better for the roots, same theory as the airpot for the roots but airpot has only holes while the Root Pouch is a fabric pot with an overall air contact. humidity of the soil comes in contact with the moving air (my ventilator is on all the time) and due to evaporation the soil is cooling down...
And I have a camera in the room but to much noise from 50Hz with the Mars LED so not good for a time lapse.

Nice, that setup with sensors is just awesome. Im a tech geek myself so at Some point I might do the same [emoji3]
I'm back from a week pike fishing in Sweden and couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the cupboard.
What a difference in genetics
Last week it was very hot in Belgium temp 30°C outside so inside 36°C and RH 30%, my wife had to water them every other day, they got plain tap water.
Both plants look healthy but the Dinamed is a small bush plant at 14cm H, 22cm W while the Vertigo is a tall open plant 40cm H, 30cm W both at the same age of 26 days. I'm not panicking anymore as my first Dinafem WW CBD was also a small bushy plant but give me lots of big buds.
Because of the Vertigo height, I started to train her to stay lower.
Today I watered them both with 1ml/l Rhizotonic (this will be the last week) and started with 1ml/l Bio Grow and 1ml/l Top Max
one strange thing they are both in the same soil (batmix +30%coco) and soil ph started at 6,8 they also receive exact the same water+nutrients, only difference is the pot and the strain of course, now Dinamed is at soil ph 6,2 and Vertigo is at 5,6 measured with accurate 8 probe....
so here they are at day 26
