New Grower 2nd Grow. 1st time here.

Day 78 and Betty looks fine. The buds are thickening up. I can not see thru them anymore. Still a little growth on the bud tips and some fox tailing. Still feeding all nutes... FloraGro, FloraBloom, Sensi Cal - Mag Xtra, and Big Bud.

@AutoWarriors I have read many options on Flushing. What to do what not to do. I am hoping for the best results for Betty. Any suggestions Bro's?
Also have removed a few secondary fan leaves today and yesterday. Still many of those still on her and she has not started to brown on the bud leaves yet.

peoples terminology of flushing is a lil different.do you mean running 3 times the pot volume of plain water ? or just a drink of water instead of nutes ? or a period of water only ?
a lot of folk consider flushing/cleansing at the end of a plants life a myth.have to say im one of them.people flush because they want a white ash/smooth taste.
i dont see any difference,just an opinion.

@archie gemmill , yes. I am talking about wash of plain water (no nutes) for the next 3 waterings. But, like you I have read about many that don't cleanse the plant. Maybe a flush with nutes and that is what I did. At this point in the grow I don't think I can mess it up too much. I am the type of gardener that takes his time to add new anything to any plant until I know how it will react.

My father was an outdoor vegetable gardener and flower gardener (especially roses) and he was a full on inorganic nutrient gardener that would add anything to make his garden boost. I never did take that course. Got better results from natural organic so.

Now this Autoflower thing is something I have no experience with, using liquid nutes.

Took Beastly Betty out of the tent to take a better look at her and get photos and also to remove more secondary fan leaves.

Gee if I didn't know better I would guess she still has a month to go! Very luscious green and more droplets have fallen on the bud leaves and is making them glossy. They shine!

I awoke to a sound coming from my kitchen...

Betty was softly saying "Take me, take me"

With a clatter I went thru my junk drawer and retrieved my magnifier.

My wondering eyes looked at her trichromes and found amber glossy droplets reflecting back at me.

I took her and took her and.........took her!

I finished with a 22.0 grams of fan leaf for Christmas brownie mix!

She just smiled and softly brushed my face as I hung her to dry.




Seriously tho. I cut Betty down after checking the trics and found about 20 - 30 % were amber. She finished up just in time for Christmas! Thank you, Everyone that helped me out.

Betty's roots. Tap root was about 2 1/2" long then split into 3 with only one reaching the bottom and the other were about 2" long and ended in hair roots toward the sides of the bag.

Took the buds off after reading about brown bag curing. The stems are boiling down for butter. Saved a bud tip 2 days ago and had it laying on the table to dry. It was ready this morning. 3 bong hits and I have a really nice buzz going. Was guessing at her height, she measured 48" tall. Still taller than it was supposed too.

Final weight 54.4 grams. The buds never became very dense. Probably not giving enough Nute early enough. And the reason I say that the roots could have spread out more and more could have reached the bottom. It did have an empty area on the bottom of the root ball that had no roots in the very center.

She has a nut, pine taste. Very heady buzz!

Nothing like growing your own medicine and then having it make you HAPPY AS HELL

After enjoying Betty for 6 days I must say she is excellent! Very high quality! I will smoke autos from now on and not look back.
