Grow Mediums 2nd Autopot Grow- This time w/ 1gal airpots...

Day 51
Things are finally moving along! Some of these didn’t start to flower until a few days ago! Looking forward to harvest as I’ve been wanting to grow double grape for a very long time.

It’s an absolute jungle in there. Definitely going with a few less plants on my next run!

Been lurking on the grow, nice progress! Had a question before I start my system up also. Once the autopots are "activated" does your coco become extremely dry as you are bottom feeding from that point on?

It’s been my experience that the term extremely dry has no place in the Autopot lexicon! Lol. The top of the pots is typically dry but if you push down on the surface you will get the sense that everything is well hydrated-if that makes any sense to you! I just know that when I was using the standard 3.9 gal pots that they just seemed to stay soaked!

Yes, soaked like a deep swampy firm bog. I use 100% coco with an air dome. It is very noticeable in the 2.2 gal size. Unfortunate the PH went to 6.7 and stunted 5 of the 6. But the roots are all over the coco. Plants love it. I keep room at 85-87F.

I’m going to update with some pics tonight. Things are chugging along. Nothing to get giddy over... YET I hope!!!

Day 58
A few quick shots... not as far along as I would’ve expected based on their age but they’ve been marching ahead steady- just found them really taking their time to start flowering...
