I go by the amount of amber trichomes.
I seriously doubt a 43 day plant has any amber on her but I've been wrong before.
I don't typically sample from live or recently harvested plants unless I've been out of weed, which you admitted to in your thread. That was probably some influence in your decision to chop her so soon?

I've got plenty of smoke but I take test buds from my plants to judge effects, there's nothing wrong with that. Even @Mossy suggests it.

We’re all on our own adventure here. If I was out of weed I’d chop early too lol. Better than buying the shit in the dispo. Or off the street.

I don't have an issue with that practice, just the claim about the 43 day auto. H2g told me his way and I told him I don't do it that way usually. I also indicated that I thought being out of weed had an influence on the decision to call it done. I'm not saying this is bad, I would do the exact same in that situation. I wouldn't tell people I grew an auto in 43 days though, I would say I've harvested autos at 43 days before with good results or something like that.

Dude those are epic.. It's always hard to guess just looking at plants but they look like they'll break an ounce each easily to me.. u could end up with 18oz if they do 1.5 each. I love this SoG style even after only 1 grow.. for smaller spaces.. its absolutely the way to max yield out.

I think they will all break an ounce. The Kush Kush and Duke plants I think may come close to 2. I will definitely be growing those again. They're the biggest in the tent and getting super frosty.

I don’t measure ppm
I feed them every watering, every 36-48 hours. Been using 3 different nutrient lines at 1/4 to 1/2 strength since I realized I’ve been over feeding. I alternate which line I feed, never feed the same twice in a row. Although I do think the AN ph perfect base trio seems to be what they like best.

Chop day is coming sooner than I expected for some of these girls. Double grape, mango smile, one of the kush and one of the dukes starting to show some amber. Double grape is ready now but I’m not ready to chop her just yet.
