cant really make my mind up on this one.. the area is a 3x3x3 ( lower section ) and a carbon setup in the freezer.. on one hand i know what the hps can do in a small area , but i think the blackstar would be better.. i think the 240w would be perfect for this size.. only doin a max of 6 auto or 2 reg's in this space..

help!! lol

oh.. and scrogg for the non auto's.. just cant make my mind up..lol

I would go with the LED.. I am a HID light guy to the core.. How ever i have also grown in a fridge.. One single 110 watt CFL gets it TOASTY in there with little ventilation.

a 250 HID anything will give you trouble with heat.

If you used the LED you wouldn't need to vent much at all.. IMO It solves more problems than it creates. Plus you read good reviews from that blackstar series of lights.

Just my 2 cents.:2cents:

Yea.. that's what I was thinkin... thanx for the input bro... I was thinkin the same about heat.. but I'm really worried about weight out come.. just not sure if the 240 will cut it

I'm using a GrowLEDHydro Spectra 180 in a 2' x 2.5' area with good results. I tried a 400 watt HPS first and couldn't control the heat well enough. With the LED my heat is stable and I only need to run my exhaust fan on low to change the air. The results have been excellent. Big, tight buds and high yields. Four Mi5 plants averaged 65 grams per plant.

No shit?!?! Seems that the 240w would be the way to go..I just hope the blackstar can live up to its rep lol

thanx for the help guy's.. just bought a blackstar 240 unit and a grow lab - gl60.. its 2fx2fx5f somethin..lol.. see yall soon!
