What part of making a feminised seed would make the potency of the feminised seed "diluted" compared to a regular seed?

Obviously DJ short is reputable im not disagreeing i just don't know a ton about breeding so im curious about that cause ive never heard that before.....ive heard about regs being more stable but not any more potent...can someone explain that to me :Sharing One:

What the hell? Okay I can understand when you put your heart and soul into something, you tend to guard your gains. Think wine coming from California or Oregon, not long ago they were considered inferior, not any more. Give them time, exposure, and they will come around. Most of the reading I have seen on autos states they are at 70% as potent as photos, but the info is dated, the same variety of autos now may be as potent as their photo counterparts. And folks are refining their favorite strains all the time

I can't wait until Autos start winning cups in a non auto category. Then eyes will turn!

I am kinda anxious to start my Mephistos so I could perhaps have them ready for the July High Times cup in Portland. It would be cutting it really close!!!

I think people would be surprised to learn how many indoor commercial growers are now thinking of or using autos for their runs..

as long as there aren't too many phenotypes and the quality is good it's certainly worth thinking about.

i love growing from seed, a lot of the problems in our house, pests and disease comes from the photo side of things.

Also we had a client in socal last year, who grows big ass plants in the giant smartpots, and people are missing a trick, he put a bunch of autos in each one and banked a run before the photos went outside.

he grows some fire plants and to quote he said 'they were amazing'

Well said Mitch. I think even if they have 2 or 3 phenotypes most commercial Growers i know in the Netherlands anyways run Strains 1 or 2 Times if they bring something knew in to watch the Phenos n co. So they know in future Runs what to cut away or if several rooms what pheno goes into what room.....

And the Quality of the new Generation Autos is defo head to head(if not upper) with the Photos i know......example Deep Blue C was more Potent then some Photoperiod Critical Kush and Chemdawg we had the same Time over here.

They grew sour crack. It was the caviar gold guys. I did ask for photos but never heard anything back, those few words were the only
feedback we got.

When people bash autos I just laugh. I laugh when I mix my soil, I laugh when I germinate my seeds, I laugh as they grow healthy and strong, I laugh while I'm trimming my beautiful big buds, and I laugh while I smoke them. Multiple times I have had people smoke my auto buds and tell me how it's the best pot they have ever smoked in their entire life. My wife doesn't like smoking other people's poorly bred/grown garbage and has informed me that I ruined other pot for her, and I did it with autos. I have helped people grow their own cannabis by giving them auto seeds, and by helping them set a plot up in their garden. They say the best pot they smoked was the first plant they grew... an auto.

Just laugh at anyone who trashes auto plants, what else do you do with the village fool? Enjoy their Luddite like approach to the amazing advances people have been making, and laugh the whole way.

Mitch, it was a pleasure watching your grows over the years over at ICmag before you started showing here, and it's been a pleasure watching you set up your company. Keep growing and laughing, I'm getting a lifetime of chuckles watching it happen.

Kinda similar situation here, newish GF of 6 months, when we first started dating we were discussing weed and she told me she doesnt have a problem with weed, tried it a few times but she never got high. I told her either she was smoking crap weed, or she wasnt doing it right.... Needless to say, she gets HIGH now!!!
