Ive got 3 easyriders to kick off the season in various mediums (soil, soil/water gel and soil/water gel/ perlite / sand) a little experiment that the rest of the crop should benefit from. Ive also got 5 fresian dews split and inthe soil and 5 ams soaking in water.
There is a forth a nl x bb auto freebie but its a bit deformed so im not expecting anything - ive got it in a bay window untill i need the space.

Pre season experiment 2012
So heres the update, today ive given each plant a litre of water. They all have the same size pot, the same amount of light and will get the same amount of water. They each have a different soil mix - just soil - soil and water gels - soil, water gels and perlite. I want to see if the plants can survive on a litre a week ! and which soil mix is best. the reason being i want 5 plants in each spot, i want to carry only 5 litres to each spot (anymore will look suspicious) and i only want to water once a week ! (mainly as im lazy)
Anyone think this will work ? Any suggestions or recomendations please feel free to post

So these little ladies have been 9 days without watering and dont really show any signs of being thirsty, could be the size of the plants or the recent weather (cold) but the plant without gels is deffinately lagging behind. Never grown easyrider before so cant tell if they are different phenos either - feel free to coment !
1st feed today too - a drop of baby bio. They are all showing signs of flowering, another week in the window then up the mountains they go.

Looking good so far
I'm so happy that the season is upon us!

Well into week 3 now and they have been in the window for a week now and not one full day of sun and the temp in the house at night is below 5 sometimes ! The plant without gels and perlite is by far the smallest and is nearly a week behind with flowering. definately looks like 2 phenotypes and they also look like they are stretching too.

You got it going on bro! Are those only in the window full time?

they are now ! First 3 weeks in a little grow box type thing you can see in the 1st pictures then 2 weeks in the window then out.
