Foil tape! If you use regular duct tape it leaves a sticky mess and melts after a short while. The foil backed stuff is designed to last and hasn't gotten gummy on me in over a year of use plus it being a high temp/high humidity environment.
This stuff: Nashua foil tape. Should be able to find it at home depot. I highly recommend it over regular duct tape. Plus it's shiny so it maintains the nice reflective surface inside the tent.
On the outside I used gorilla waterproof tape. A bit spendy but works great and sticks to the fabric decently.
