Wondering if there is a significant difference in yield from 2 to 3 gallon pots? I can fit 3-2 gal or 2-3 gal pots in my spaces. I've been using 2 gal and wondering if there is a significant reason to go to 3 gal

Are you in coco?

There are far too many variables from grower to grower to say definitively that 2 gal is better than 3 gal or vice versus. My 2x4 tent currently has two 3 gallon and one 2 gallon. The 2 gal is doing very well. I will probably change to all 2 gal eventually so I can get my humidifier back inside the tent. The medium I use is Coco Loco.

I'm using coco as well. I've got one 3 gal going right now and I don't see much difference between the 2 but I waited a little too long to transplant the 2 girls so that I'm sure has come into play

I think it's very strain dependent and pheno. I've had 3 autos in 2 gallons go 99 grams 110 grams and 119 grams. I've had others in 3 gallon get less because that certain strain. How much height do you got after the light hanging down and pots sitting in there for the plant to grow.

In my "bloom" space I've got 5' I usually top the plants once so they haven't out grown it yet

I just took down some good size plants that were in 2 gal "air pots" with coco/perlite. The roots were packed in really tight and starting to circle the drain. Wondering if this had anything to do with the girls not fattening up anymore the last couple of weeks. Maybe I should go to 3 gal?

I'm always experimenting. Its definitely worth a shot. What was your flowering feed schedule during that time

I feed daily. I also had some issue the last few weeks with I believe manganese deficiency. Tried flushing and cutting back on nutes but too late to help much. I'm sure that didn't help that fattening either. Need to be more diligent checking ppm

I seem to always make a mistake growing something the first time. 2nd time always better go. And it sounds like you've learned what to do to fix it? Maybejust go with the 3 gallon for now. Get some stuff dialed in then maybe try back at 2?
