Grow Room 2 fans and 2 different speed controls

I ordered two AC Infinity S6 line fans.

You can see from the pictures that they each came with their own type of fan speed controller.

For those of you that have had AC Infinity what am I seeing here? Why do you think they're different?

They made a lot of changes very quickly in the last couple years. It's possible to get both the old and new versions depending on how long things sat in a warehouse.

The 4 prong molex connector, that is the "old" controller.

The new uis connector is on the new box. The uis system looks like a usb port. It's their own cable system but allows all "uis" devices to be run from one of the new controller boxes.

Send ACInfinity a message, they may help you get two new versions. I liked the older controller system better but you'll need the new cable style if you ever get one of the panel controllers.

My understanding is that they do have adapters in case I wanted to get one of their controllers.

I just bought a new S6 maybe 6 weeks ago and got nothing like that, my new and old S6 have the buttons on the back of the fan. ONly difference is one has the cord coming out the bottom, the other cord comes out the side.

edit: my bad, your talking about the S6 inline fans, oops.
