1st time Organic grow, 3 gallon pot :(

I have also noticed that the plants grew fast and furious all the way until about 12" away from the light. I cannot move the light any higher and I do not rotate the plants. Leaves that are about 12-14" inches away have been turning purple. I read that purple cannabis is caused by anthocyanin which is mostly photosynthesized in green light according to this chart. Which really has me stumped...

Damn they certainly look good, is that bad for the plant when that happens though? If it is, you should maybe try to LST a bit harder next round, when you LST you can really keep the plants low

The two short ones in the back are Blueberry and Northern Lights @71 days from breaking soil. the two tall ones are Critical Purple and Gorilla Glue at approx. 61 days.

Ahh cool cool, they're coming along nicely! Wish i had the space to grow like 4-6+ plants haha :D Can only do 2 at a time with my tent

I did the LST and topping and a lot of nutes on the first round. This round is more about letting it go. Live and let grow. I open the door in the morning and say goodbye to the ladies before work. When I get home I check the water levels and say goodnight to the girls. They seem happy with the lemonade and sunbathing. I did top the Critical purple 2 weeks into flower I left only 3 nodes and it still is a tall monster. I am just going to stick with the shorter strains. Looking into Hindu Kush for the next run. Short and fast flower time. I am curious to see the yield.

If it were me, I would hit them with a touch of N and K. A product like Mycochum provides both in an easy liquid form. Otherwise, potassium sulfate is 50% K and very affordable, a little goes a long way.

Oh and you may want to incorporate a small amount of agricultural sulfur to lower pH in the soil if that's an issue or to keep it from creeping up over time (emphasis on small amount).

I’m new myself. I’m using M3 also. They sell another product, Papa’s Perfect Poop as well. I’ve been told to add a tablespoon or two of that 3 weeks into flower. Also I emailed them and they said add 1/2lb of PPP with whats left after a whole bag of M3 (3 five gallon pots) and some blood meal and the soil is back to new again.

I got my HerbsNow dryer today and I am working up to the point of using it starting Sunday night. My 83 day old blueberry is ready for harvest. I dont defoliate or top anymore so I didn't realize how thick she is until I started cleaning her up a little. This girl has got it goin' on.

That's weird though, there is always conflicting information online lol - Not saying you or the other part is wrong/right, but i am using Kind Soil at the moment and they said not to water too often as medium that is constantly quite moist can breed other bad bacteria and invite pests to come into the equation :/

I'm currently now watering my 10Litre pots with anywhere from about 700ml-1L every 3-4 days, does this sound like too much/less or about right? Currently at about day ~50 into the grow.

Not to sure if this is counted as gravedigging a old thread, but it is only 11 days since the last reply so figured it should be ok... Apologies if it is though

sorry for the slow reply, but I don’t get on here too much. There’s no contradiction between what I said and what your soil company says. I just said that you don’t want the soil to dry out. I water every day but I only water what the soil needs to keep it at a constant moisture level. Letting your soil go bone dry and then getting it sopping were is bad - those extreme swings. If you look at SIPs containers, Blumats systems, AutoPots, etc. they’re all designed to keep soil at the optimal moisture level at ALL times - there’s no ‘dry out’ incorporated. They water a little all the time, just a little. Kind wants you to maintain that moisture level but they word it the way they do because most people water too heavily when they hand water. So they say don’t water too “often” because telling you not to water too “much” is harder to quantify. Call them and ask them - I guarantee their soil guys will say the BEST way to water is with frequent light applications. Ideally, you’d be watering 10x per day, at regular intervals and dispensing just the right amount each time.

I hope this helps and explains it in a way that’s understandable.
