1st time Organic grow, 3 gallon pot :(

Yeah, it will work to top water your teas, as long as you don’t put too much where there is run off into the reservoir.

3 gallons is too small in my opinion. I’ve been able to full runs in both 5 gallon and 7 gallon. When I use 5 gallon I feed AACT Avery 7-10 days. With 7 gallon I can go every 2 weeks. The key is to keep your soil moist all the time. Do NOT dry out your soil! Dry soil kills microbes and you desperately need them with water-only runs. I would up-pot to 5g if you can. If not, brew a lot of tea and top dress with something like Build A Soil’s, Build A Bloom. You may not get as big a buds as you’d like but you’ll get through and next time go with a bigger pot.
Also, add biology (Recharge, Root Wise, Fish Shit, Mammoth P, OG Biowar, etc) with EVERY watering. Remember, it’s those microbes that are feeding your plants, not you or your soil. Keep them happy and they’ll keep your girls happy.

That's weird though, there is always conflicting information online lol - Not saying you or the other part is wrong/right, but i am using Kind Soil at the moment and they said not to water too often as medium that is constantly quite moist can breed other bad bacteria and invite pests to come into the equation :/

I'm currently now watering my 10Litre pots with anywhere from about 700ml-1L every 3-4 days, does this sound like too much/less or about right? Currently at about day ~50 into the grow.

Not to sure if this is counted as gravedigging a old thread, but it is only 11 days since the last reply so figured it should be ok... Apologies if it is though

I LOVE my growbuckets, it is impossible to over water and by loving them I have to make due with 3 gallons of soil for now.

I believe most of my issues were heat and light related as opposed to nutrients. I am using an "experimental" LED light that doesn't have any green light to it. Green light penetrates deeper into the canopy than red and blue. I figured this out when only the leaves that were covered up were the ones turning yellow. I did follow up with one plant and added a dose of Iguana Juice once a week for 2 weeks and did not notice any improvements to the plant. They are all back to drinking well water pH'd down to approx. 6.5 with lemon juice.

I have also noticed that the plants grew fast and furious all the way until about 12" away from the light. I cannot move the light any higher and I do not rotate the plants. Leaves that are about 12-14" inches away have been turning purple. I read that purple cannabis is caused by anthocyanin which is mostly photosynthesized in green light according to this chart. Which really has me stumped...
