No nutrients this last feeding and mostly grow big last time, thou I mixed a little big bloom in, very low ppm thou. Do you guys think it's needed to use sledgehammer on soil before starting flower nutes? They recommend every 4 weeks or so but I've feed so lightly I don't think it needs it yet.

You can see the smallest Easy Ryder is still way too short...

Yea that easy is mad short. My Mystics are staying pretty short and bushy. Def gonna be single cola plants if ya ask me. What's the PPM of your water when your feeding? Your mixing a small amount of veg nutes with your flower bites your saying correct? It's a good idea to keep feeding your veg nutes even after they shoot pistils because they do continue to grow and veg. You can also mix as long as there not high chemical nutes. From what I understand that can cause a blockage of the bloom nutes. When the buds really start forming around week 6 is when I would stop the veg nutes and just pound them with the PK.

Most my feeding have only been around 100-150 ppm. Big white Russian has gotten two feeding above 300 thou and yea until now most to all has been FF grow big and some cal mag. Just touches of big bloom added to mix here and there. Heavier big bloom last time but I'd say it's time to start tiger bloom soon. Thanks for heads up on maintaining veg nutes till late in grow thou, makes sense to provide just enough N to keep em building up nice.

Yea they tend to hit a good growth spurt from weeks 4-6. I just upped mine from 80-160. Trying to see what these can handle. So far so good on the half strength for me. That white Russian is a monster man. Can't wait to see her finish.

My small easy ryder is in a plastic pot since I ran out of smart pots. Tonight I drilled a lot of quarter inch holes around the pot to allow my air in the soil next step is a feeding on the heavy side, but I need advice what PPM of FF grow big can a 23 day old easy ryder handle without nute burn?

One of the bits of info that I've gathered on the ER is that it has a good tolerance to over and under fertilizing, but gets on just fine with very little fertilizing. That's why I'm using it as a "learning plant"- I figured my mess ups might be forgiven, and they were. Maybe that is just a very short pheno? One thing that supposedly will stunt the ER is having the temps too high. Funny that the smallest one is the only one in the plastic pot... I'll be watching impatiently to see what drilling the holes in the sides does for you!

plants this morning just after watering/feeding

DSCF2734.jpgDSCF2733.jpgDSCF2732.jpgDSCF2730.jpgDSCF2728.jpgDSCF2727.jpg

small e.r. got 500ppm of grow big in about 3 cups of distilled water
and big white russian got its first taste of tiger bloom 240ppm in 3 cups of water
first pic is just where my lower lights are located with the cfl's off because someone asked about my lower lighting, it gets cold in my grow area so the two cfl's keep temps about right and the heat is in the root area so i hope that help the plants during the really cold days,
so far i've never seen temps below 67 degrees F.

Rookie Mistake! i let the plants dry out way too much! I got crazy busy and ran out of my distilled water. Now my white russian seems all droopy! i'm posting pics i hope i can save her!!!??? its only been three days but those smart pots get serious air flow and she was bone dry!

AHHH! i stunted my prize girl!
