New Grower 1st TIME DWC/SCROG - BUDDHA MAGNUM

Hello hello folks, Indy here! So, my order just arrived and I'm ready to get things rolling with my first DWC/SCROG grow! Normally I'd be nervous starting a new project like this, but this community has eliminated all of that.

My goal is to maximize the yield of this bad girl while also coming away with some quality smoke.

I have two tents, 4'x4'x7', and 2'x4'x5'. One is for flower, the other for seedlings and veg. Until my next grow I will be using a 600w Hps light which will later be replaced by an LED (Mars Reflector series more than likely). For nutes I'll be using GH Flora Nova Grow & Bloom, Canna Rhizotonic, and Canna PK. KISS method in full effect. As I progress through this I may need to try different things, but for now this will suffice I'm sure.

I'm still working on the specifics of my SCROG net. I'm not sure if I want to suspend it via rope hangers or make it a standalone device. So, this brings along my first series of questions; Should I make my SCROG net a standalone unit, or suspend it by the rope hangers? Also, at what height should the plant be before the net is added?

I will have pics posted by tomorrow (Hopefully), and I will be germinating this lady tonight in a cup of lukewarm water with a squirt of Canna Rhizotonic.

Either way you do the net it should be adjustable, so I think whatever is easier for you to set up is the way to go. As far as what height I think they should be about 9-12" from what I have seen and read. Most of the nets that you see are about that high from the top of the bucket or netpot. Day 3 Update:

So this little lady popped after about 16 hours of germination. I put the seed in a glass of 5.5 ph warm water and added Canna Rhizotonic to speed it up a bit. I soaked my block in 6.0 ph water with Canna Rhizotonic for 24 hours while the seed was germinating. Once the seed popped I added it to the block and placed it covered on a heat mat. Came back about 12 hours later and she had already shed her shell!

I added some pics of the setup as of now. I will add more as things progress. I added a T splitter to my air pump and as you can see, that one bucket is getting a TON of air! You can also see my over sized carbon filter in another pic. A buddy of mine says its not necessary to have one that big in that size tent, but what the hell?! In my situation one could never be too safe! :check:
