Indoor 1st indoor grow - Green Poison

trying to figure out when to harvest....

the leaves are almost spent and I am 8 weeks from seed as of tomorrow (as stated on package). I haven´t watered in three days and need an opinion if i should keep watering or let them go....

First indoor harvest!!!!! What a journey of ups and downs. I have learned so much and I know its only a fraction of what I have yet to learn. I am pretty happy with the girls. I know that had I started in more stable conditions and had more experience these would have been monsters. I have done outdoor (all photo) grows but this is way different. The Green Poison seems to be a sturdy girl, she put up with a lot of changed environments and produced well. I don't have a scale but I have a nice camera and will provide better photos after I finish cleaning them up a bit. The few below are camera phone.... Thanks again everyone... Small leaves with trich's, where do I save and for how long before I can make some oil or butter? Any good links? I have done a search but no one goes into pre prep... I am finishing my harvest and want to know how to save/store an for how long before I can use....

nice first time indoor harvest!:thumbs: dry for one day for every 10% rh, then one day loosly placed in brown paper bag,then into sealed jars like ball jars
and burped every day for a week, every other day for another week. then twice a week, etc. etc.the longer the cure the better the cannabis! it is very tough to cure your crop the right amount of time! ya want to smoke it!!minimum two weeks after drying , it will taste better and be more potent the longer it cures!! i know a grower in maine, he has been growing cannabis for 50 years, he likes four months of cure! +rep for your first auto crop!

My first +rep! Thanks!!! This journal has taken a lot of time but I have learned so much!! I'll be patient with curing. I still have plenty from last years outdoor grow so I won't rush. 4 month cure is ideal but every strain is different. I'd like to do another GP grow because I totally fucked this grow. Indoors is a whole different beast and they suffered from a lot of changes in the first month.

For scientific reasons.

I have taken some photos of the root system and hope that they benefit someone in the future. You can read the begining of my post about bucket size and medium used. I was quite happy with the medium (Kilomix). The grow turned out bad because I made a lot of changes to grow area but I have learned much the last two months and will be starting my next grow journal in the next week.

Update. Girls are still drying. I took them down and threw them in a jar but RH red 70% so I had to take them back out to dry a bit. I will be taking them down and jarring them tonight and hopefully tomorrow I get a 60-65% read and put them im smaller jars to start curing. Expect smoke report in about 4-5 weeks!



11L buckets (3 Gallon).

one more thing! I put some wet bud in a jar for three days with out burping so I can see how and where any fungus shows up. Today showed first signs, pic will be up soon. Always good to have an idea!
