Eggman! You are right. You've been right all along. They did want to grow for me! And they are hungry/thirsty as hell!

I did upgrade my tent yesterday. They were getting too big for my little DIY cabinet so I got a 48"X24"X60" tent.

What a relief! Pic's to follow....

Day 54. Looking Good! Been busy and so have Thelma & Louise! After a few fumbling (buzzed) hours of getting the new tent set up, I finally got them settled in to their new digs. So happy I bought this tent! It is roomy, sturdy, and has plenty of vents for everything. [h=1]

Louise (Big Buddah Cheese) is on the left. Thelma (Think Different) is on the right.

Thelma: Lots of bud sites. Bending & tucking leaves/branches. Still finding new bud sites. She is a heavy feeder/drinker. Been feeding every day with 1/4 strength nutes (General Hydroponics - GO Box - Love it).

And Louise - She is taller and leaner than Thelma with lots of bud sites. The leaves are thinner so she doesn't seem to need as much training...or as much water/feeding.

Getting exciting around here. Tomorrow I am going to start three new seeds.. I'm thnking another DP Think Different, a DP AutoDurban Poison and either a Grape Muerto or an Advanced Seeds Auto Heavy Bud. This will be the last time I will be able to grow until September. Suggestions???

:drool:Yeah, Sawbones...you may only want to do two seeds instead of three. If one of 'em gets BIG, tent management becomes untenable. Also, don't wash that green off'n yer thumbs! Pretty, pretty, pretty! Just don't let 'em go off the cliff!!!

Day 58 Think Different (Thelma) & Big Buddah Cheese (Louise) - The Girls are Getting Chunky!

Thelma - DP Think Different on Left, Louise (Cheese) on right.

Thelma - She is slower than Louise and not quite as dense - yet. I do think she will catch up. She is a feeding machine! I upped the GH nutes to 3/4
strength today and gave her another good tucking.

Louise - She looks great to me! Also 3/4 strength nutes and a good tucking today.

Since moving to the bigger tent I have noticed a couple of little gnats. Also it is super humid here and more rain is coming. I've read that I need to get the humidity in the tent down, so I'm off to Amazon to look for a dehumidifier. Any suggestions out there for a decent (but not too expensive) dehumidifier? Also, should I be worried about the gnats?

I will be glad when I can finally sample the girls! This is an expensive hobby and now that I've started, I don't ever want to buy crappy weed again!

Peace!

Jane

'Bones...
Is it possible that you can leave your tent OPEN? Since we're growing AUTO's, light isn't a factor...they'll bloom when they bloom (don't really require dark). I bought an expensive dehumidifier and put it in the tent (4x4), raises the temp in the tent. It's basically an air conditioner w/o the coooling. I need it because I pump co2. They're BIG, they're HEAVY and they're a PAIN IN THE ASS!!! They're expensive too. SUGGESTION: Keep front flap open, run a cheap fan to circulae air and rely upon ambient AC to control relative humidity and temps. As we're getting into the 80's now, I just leave the tent OPEN with a fan blowing into the tent. So far...so good. I've also moved one of the girls OUTSIDE to FINISH. Never done this before, but it's WORKING! Wifey is having a conniption fit. lol. Good Luck! and wish me luck as well! Vote for ME in the BOM! I've been nominated for shit of the month. First timer...just like you! I'll nominate you for April ifyou can keep yer shit together!

PS
What's a tuba for?

um...1 3/4 x 3 1/2...unless you specify

Eggman....you are probably right, but I am greedy! So I planted three. I guess if I have to get a bigger space, more lights, etc.... I can live with that!
