New Grower 1st Grow Crop King WW Auto

I use rainwater and I used to pH to 6.4/6.5 and would end up with similar leaf damage. Not enough to kill but enough to effect. I started pH to 6.2/6.3 and it has made a WORLD of a difference. I was amazed that the small change to pH effected it so much.

Well I guess getting a nice digital Ph meter is next on my list. I've been using strips to test ph

Both at 40 days, I went from this

To this, all in a matter of .2

Yeah I just went with the Ph strips because they were cheaper than a digital one. All the reviews on those cheap Ph meters said to stay away but I guess Ill just get a good one.
You cant go wrong with a bluelabs pen. It hasnt let me down. I bought one of the cheap yellow ones before and it wouldnt calibrate right. Some guys get away without any adjustments but i think that has to do with their water amendments fixing everything.

Yeah I've been looking. I was thinking about getting another hlg 300l but maybe I'll put that off and get the Ph tester instead.

@Mañ'O'Green I finally figured it out and you were right the whole time. My runoff tested just shy of 2000ppm. I flushed with pure ph water to bring it down to 1000ppm. I'm glad I got that TDS meter

Things are just getting worse and I'm not sure what to do. It's only on the top leaves/bud sites.

ok so today my apera digital ph tester arrived, I now know what my issues have been. my tap water is a ph of 7.6 I had some test strips that were reading it as 6. I just tested some leftover mixed nutes I had and it was 7.0, still not ideal but I guess im doing the most damage when I water with just tap water. @Mañ'O'Green

Just another update,They still look pretty shitty but bulking up. I now have my Ph under control, and I've used sticky traps for the gnats. I've thrown a few potatoes in the dirt to see how bad my gnat issue is, so we will stay tuned for that one.

Picked up a bunch of Gaia green products and organic amendments yesterday for future grows. Also not sure if it was a smart choice but I gave them some Gaia Green bloom as a top dress.
