New Grower 1st dwc hope for the best

Be sure you get PH balanced hydroton (clay pebbles). The cheap ones will drive you crazy trying to control PH.

Does the sensi bloom have everything or do you need the additives
Running DWC, there are additives that are needed that wouldn't necessarily be needed if we were growing in soil because a lot of mixes have those micronutrients built in. At least that's my understanding of it.

Edit: Oh, and the Sensizyme is needed to maintain your res.

Without insulation it will be hard to prevent condensation and molds as the temperatures in the garage will change faster than in the tent. Warm moist air in the tent will contact cold tent walls = wet. You will loose a lot of warmth out the floor in the winter.

what ppms do you run i just know when i was using gh 3 part it was over 1200 and i was burning everytime i refilled i used full steength snd i felt like i was chasimg ppms all the time. It was stressful thats why im trying to find something simple unless i am feeding and refilling incorrectly

Unless you know from past experience with a nutrient start all at 50% strength. Then increase 10% each week until you get a little bit of tip burn then back off 10% this will give you the optimum level for that plant.

I don't (and won't) check pH, ppms or EC. I just keep it simple and it works. In researching AN's pH Perfect line, I found plenty of people that had problems with it and all of those people had one thing in common. They all insisted on checking their pH.

So when you start your first week of feeding you go50% from the start? Do you refill plain water until the next week and dump + add 10% i think thata where i get confused.
