Sweet Seeds 1st Auto grow.

After considering several options to get better light coverage over my growing area I decided to add a Mars Hydro COB LED. 110W at the plug bringing my total Wattage to approximately 290W for the 2X4 tent. 36 watts per sq ft.
The 22" long mars hydro 96 reflector I was running by itself at 180 watts does a real good job on its own but doesn't get full canopy coverage along with penetration for a grow like this. Let's see how this turns out
A side perk is I can use the COB for a single plant if needed such as if one of my autos is a photo etc.

Serious defol for all 3 plants. Only the main tops left. Cleared all the undergrowth.
Starting to slowly lower the lights as flowering is progressing.
Plants a little droopy today? Maybe the new light is causing some changes.
See what happens tommorrow. High hopes, pun intended for this grow!

Patience, that plants need their time. They have to adapt to the changes.
You are doing a good job.

I wish you luck, and patience hahahaha

Sweet smokes bro!

I agree I may be pushing it. Leaves were wet in several places from being to dense and overlapped and got carried away. Time to leave them do their thing and leave em alone.
Thanks :pass:

PS: they perked back up and are looking like they didn't suffer much from the haircut..
All appears well in spite of me...lol.

2 days after the defoliation and they appear to have recovered with over and inch in upwards growth for all plants.
6 more gallons of nutrient solution added. 5.65/ph, 887 ppm. No more tip burn at this strength. Although the NL in the middle has recurring half shiny fan leaf being grown on one side of the plant. Never spreads and keeps growing. temp 21-28C, 50-60% RH.

Update day 48
temps 20/27C, RH-50-70%, ph-5.98, ppm-855.
Light defol today to clear light path to bud sights.
health looks good with no real issues I can see.
The CC staying the shortest @ 15" and nice green color. Well balanced structure.
NLx#1 is the tallest at 2 ft and is the slowest in flowering by a few days or so.
NLx#2 was the fastest out of the gate and continues to be the biggest overall plant so I topped it or it may have been 2.5 ft by now . Starting to stretch and is now maybe the farthest along in flowering even though they are all just beginning that cycle.
Lights are 18-20" away and it seems to be a good distance.
Amazing how the plants continue to change as they mature.
I consider this my 1st real serious grow as my 1st grow prior to this was all about learning as I go and seeing how I could stress my plants...lol. Not the best but I wasn't too concerned.
Hopes for this grow are a bit higher...but will be happy with whatever results I get.
I don't smoke much myself to be honest and started growing to supply my wife who has trouble sleeping. I do like it for de-stressing after a long week at work.
Enough rambling....here are some pics. :peek:

Thanks Apolo, Things turned around after the slow start for sure.
Day 42 today. Things are steady as she goes. Light trim today, Mixed a new batch of nutes.
Indeed, I may run out of room as fan leaves are starting to push the tent walls in all directions and I only have 14 Inches up top to raise the light from the current 23" above the plants.
CC 13" tall
