1st Auto Grow (Week 5 no flowers)

I started out being honest I'm not going to stop now. I would not have gone with that light. Looks like 170 bucks on Amazon. Hard to get a great light for that amount. The light will grow weed. I think you could do better. If you can use a pair of wire strippers and a screwdriver. Check out the lighting and DIY threads. What is the hurry? I am far from the best lighting expert. FAR. But I am learning. This is a great community and they will help you. @TxRebel/Mark be able to give you a little direction. Hope you don't mind TX. The King is not a 1500w light it is marketed as a 1500w but it is what they intend as a 1500w equivalent. It is not either of those things. Again it will grow weed. If it were me I'd spend 200 or less on a DIY which will perform, in all likelihood, MUCH better than the King. 200 bucks will not flower a 4x4 well. It will flower the crap out-of a 2x4. I think your plants can be arranged to just about fit that footprint. Next run get a second light. Just my opinion. I'd return the King. Either way you will succeed.

thanks .i ordered a 1500watt KingLED and i plan on ordering a second one before my next geow if funds allow it.. itll arrive in 5-6 fays hopefulky i can save this grow—hipefully theyll get taller and have a decent yield after being exposed to better lights

It’s actually good news..more space more light better yield..ill get it solved ..i ordered a 1500watt KingLED..have u heard of it...im thinking two of them will be sufficient for my projects
I have heard of King LED. However I know nothing about them and 1500 watts is onviously an Equivelent number. Whst does it really draw and how much space will.it light up? Price? Lots of lighting options these days. Dont get suckered into gimmicks or false claims. I will.check out thst light right now and see whst it is sll about. Peacex slow

Thanks for the honest input and i have to be honest im still learning so im going to keep the king led for now but ill start building one before my next grow.. im starting with 0 knowledge in that area but I’ll definitely reach out to you guys and do some reading. Thanks and bunch

It will work for you. Lots of color. Maybe you can build strips that surround the King. If that makes sense. Add a good white spectrum around it with a couple strips

hi pal that light will do wonders from the ones your using I've still got 3 budget blurples and i used to grow decent weed we all have to start somewhere and as i said i started out with hps then cheap led

Sounds good and i already have a couple strips1200lumens each-not much but hopefully theyll help
Yes if they are white light especially 6000k, 5000k, etc. To an extent (generalization) it is all about photons. Another generalization is watts per sf. Add all of your wattage and divide by the sf of your area. 35 watts is really good. I'm at 43.75 which may actually be high. At the moment I still have room to adjust my lights higher height wise. If I see any taco leaves I raise my lights. Just to be clear there is nothing wrong with the King. It will grow good bud and many Growers have had and are having great success with that type of light. I was trying to get you off on the best foot. I really look forward to seeing what you do in the future. Great job so far!
