Indoor 1st Auto grow and its crazy.Short stuff seeds,stunted a few

i didn`t want the hps to close to the seedlings but will have to bring it down as ther stretching to much to early, i have the led over the older ones, now the others are doing well ,the roots are all tangled, what do i do once i harvest the 2 oldest ones as ther roots will be left behind??
