1500W COB LED. Is it overkill for a closet grow ?

Hi.
Ive a Viparspectra 300w in my closet (about 3ft x 1.5 ft x 5ft).with 2 Autos in soil, in veg (a little slower than I expected) These lights apparently aren't all that good for flowering so thinking of grabbing a COB and this looks OK, but is it too much for the space ? Moving forward i'll be going canna coco with nutes.

That light should be fine for your closet grow. I'm running 1200w cob/led beside 2 autocobs and they grow some good weed.

I've used Viparspectra 300 quite a few times , it'll grow the weed. I wouldn't really expect much better results from the cob you linked or any other amazon light. Don't be confused about the wattage they post, the vs 300 is 120 actual wats and the 1500w cob is only 250 watts.

Check out the MIGRO Chanel on YouTube. He does a ton of unbiased test on various expensive to cheap lights. I think he actually just recently reviewed the cheapo amazon led's and the Mehzi (spelling) came out to be the best value.

Try cobshop.net You don't need a whole lot of light for that space and one of those cobs would be amazing in there.

I've always preferred having a couple of lights with lower wattage for a better light spread, versus one big wattage light.

I would normally 100% agree with this statement, except the fact I noticed the amazon link posted is from .au and I'm guessing shipping would totally ruin that deal.
