Top O the morning , flourishing comunity,

i got a wee question here for yous experts.

One of my plant have about 15% amer trich but most of the hairs are still white... i was wondering which of these sign i should follow regarding harvest time...

here s the details:

-plant is Stress Killer by royal queen seed (15% thc 10% or so CBD, maybe this plays a role in the equation)
- 12l pot plagron all mix
-50 days old
-stayed under 2 x 85w flora led until day 40
-now under brand new Mars II 700 ( hell Yeah!!!!) bloom+Veg switches on
-I ve been feeding it a mixed nute scheduled (noob mistake i know): Plagron Alga Bloom + Aptus Regulator + Aptus CalMag + Phase 4 flo booster
-Bubble water
-plant is short , 55 cm but crazy short internodes ( light too close to start with)

so i m wondering, since the hairs and the trichomes don t correlate in maturity as they usually do ( from what i read)

----should i start flushing the laday straight away for 10 days ? than cut ? cause 15% amber trichomes is allready pretty far in.
----should i wait for all pistyls to go amber , no matter what trichomes suggest me, and than flush...

plus i wonder if any of you had that situation allready? what could cause that? i think it s unusual, maybe it is due to the fact that it s a CBD high plant?

I plan to do mostly RSO oil with that one

please enlight me

@KonopCh @Duggy

Thank you brothers, i was in between following reason ( go with the trichomes) and following greed ( wait for the hairs, hoping the buds would quadruple in size in the mean time :haha: )

@loic I would judge by the trichomes

I second that, people only use pistils as indicators when they can't see the trichomes.

Sometimes you will find that some plants start to reproduce pistils even after the first wave have all gone amber.

I am no expert, but looking at it biochemically: If trichs are amber, it means THC is oxidized to CBN. This is what's matters. The pistil colour is a strain specific trait.

A couple shots of the set up right here,
to have a bit of infeild point of view, i ve got a NYC deisel well into flower (barneys farm), a white widow( by Seeds Man )( back left) and High density ( heavy weight seed) (front left)

All about 50 days in, High desnsity is in a cheap 9l air pot, and i use the tiered method on it, white widow is in a deeper 12l regular pot. Both are much bigger and about 10 days behind in flowering
