115w cob led yield

Hi guys just wondering is it the norm with good genetics and using a cob led like migro pulling 115w from the wall to yield atleast 2 oz most harvests with autoflowers when climate is close to optimal and things go smoothly? I used biobizz lightmix soil and nutes in 15l airpot but was more like 12l airpot as the soil was only 3/4 the way up pot didn’t fill properly

Ive just harvested my first plant indoors and wet weight of trimmed buds was 370g so I’m expecting a nice weight when dry.

The reason I’m asking is because I’m debating whether it would be worth the trouble going forward sticking 2 autos in 10l pot in my tent instead of 1 x 15l would the yield be substantially more in a 60x60 tent or would the lst on one plant yield similar?

i grow in 3L pots,it was 6L for a long time.and in a 50x100cm space without lst leaves are touching walls.squeezing 3 or more in that space is stupid,but i do it regular. whilst i love variety,if after yield id have to say 1 plant in a 60x60.
id put money on you getting a bigger yield next grow,all things being the same

Thanks for the input man I think I’ll give it a lash just the once and stick in the 2 x10l just to get the experience and find out how hard or east that is to manage

I was blown away with the wet weight of my bud because on growdiaries I looked at a number of grow journals with same strain from same seed bank and they were on average yielding between 10 - 40 grams even with more powerful lights.

I suppose it goes to show the importance of environment because I kept fairly close to what’s optimum for each stage right the way through and also I think the switch from 18/6 to 20/4 last few weeks of flowering helped, think I will do the same next grow.

if it aint broke dont fix it.....but at the same time dont be scared to mix things up a lil
my yields for a year or so were poor in 9 or 11L pots fast forward 5 years(experience gotta count for something,even if i havnt learnt much eh)...id be a bit pissed if i got 40g from a 3L pot and im a lazy n shit grower....dont believe me go check out my cupboard thread
great first grow have a look in on Tang for consistant big plants thats as pretty as a picture,mrganjamotto for just beasts of plants.
yes its just a weed,but grower input is a good.....or bad 50%
whats next ? pull yer finger out and get a new grow journal up

I’m going to be shooting for the stars now I was thinking would be great if I managed to pull 1 oz off my first plant and looking like atleast double that

It will be interesting to see what my sick plant produces same strain in a 10l pot at around day 44, the picture is from 1 week ago around day 37 she is a little behind the one I just harvested for this stage of its life and staying very yellow but growth hasn’t slowed significantly. Have any of you guys had a yellow sickly looking plant from start to finish if so how’d it turn out?

yep some plants are big feeders and can take whatever ya throw at them.had a few purple varieties that seemed to recoil at the sight of me mixing up the nutes.swings and roundabouts.a few of my smaller plants were super potent,yield not so important if half a joint can do the trick

Heck I tend to put as many under my cobs as will fit in my 3x2 tent! I have a separate veg space in a cupboard/armour and move to the tent for blooming. Oh I try to time everything to rotate on schedule but you know how us old weed growers...I get new beans, just gotta get one started! Been doing it 14 yrs and lovin it!
Back to lights....I'm using an auto cob 55w, and a rapidled 100w and a cheap blurple....my last harvest included a GSC at 76g dry...while Sharing with 3 other autos.
So I say hell yeah, yo cob will pull some g's... let her rip.

Cool man I’m going to stick a couple of Black JH seeds into 10l airpots In a couple weeks and see how we go

Come to think of it I don’t know whyI underestimated my cob it’s like a bloody flood light when on full

Quality LED lighting, in a good setup, 1.8 gpw is about topping out. So if your dialed, about 210 grams of dried "marketable" nugs is possible.

115w is enough to cover 4 sq feet. If you want to go larger, you'll need to up your lighting. In a small area like that, maximizing space is the key. SCROG will give you the most overall quality to quantity option.

I will do one more grow with 2 autos in 10l airpots and will hopefully cross the 100g mark would be very happy to achieve this.
