Hello everyone. I would say I’m pretty new here, I was around a few years back and now I’m back after som.

I have set up a new grow and I am looking at getting any opinions and feedback before it starts. This room is 10’x10’x8’.Fully sealed in with no air or light leaks. Mostly for smell purposes.

this is my set up that’s ready to go...
—Crop king seeds
—7 white widow auto flower
—7 trainwreck auto
—germinate 10 hoping to get 8 to pop
—5 gallon fabric pots (growing 8 at one time)
—Fox farm ocean forest with 25% perlite
—Nutrients will be minor: grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom.
—(2) BESTVA 2000watt full spectrum LED I kno people will now probably talk down on the lights but I am going to give them a shot. (390watt draw) they say 1400watt equiv.
—light schedule probably 20/4
—my max grow area is 8’x4’ right now for drainage but can be made larger later
— (1) 6” 400cfm intake fan
—(1) 6” 400cfm exhaust fan

I planned on giving my plants about 1.5’x1.5’ of space each but would like to yield the most I can with quality buds obviously.

Here are some pics of the set up. Can anyone give me some feedback, advice, or opinions?? I would appreciate it all.
Thanks everyone.

Only advice to give right now is you better get a bunch more light, you will be lucky to flower 2 under that. Check in to Mars Hydro or cobs.

Also 1.5' each isn't realistic if you keep them healthy you're looking at minimum of 3'x3'

So you’re saying 6sqft per plant?
A buddy of mine just finished a grow with two 1000watt of same light and it did a pretty good job.

I guess I will add one more 2000w and see how it goes.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it

if you ever need anything just tag me by putting @ that before my name
Ok thanks. I think i am going to add another 2000w (390w actual)
That will give me 1170 actual watts and then I may take it from 8 plants in 5 gallons to only 6 plants in 5 gallons.
Does that make sense?

The space you will want per plant will vary by maybe 2-3x depending on strain. You have lots of height, so if you choose to, you could take on some pretty large strains which may well want a 3'x3' footprint or larger to allow for training. OTOH, the 24C's in my current grow are doing fine in something like 1.5x1.5 each.

Your three lights will be fine for 6 medium sized plants, and maybe a bit light for 6 monsters, but they will still produce. You can always add more later if your monsters seem to want it. Horrible problem that, monsters that need more.

If your concern regarding smell includes the outside of the building, you will need a 6" or larger carbon filter. You may also need dehumidification/humidification depending on your environment, and a hygrometer (this is a good one: Amazon product) . VPD charts are your friend.

And you are going to need a couple decent sized fans to keep a breeze moving in there. Stagnant air is a bad idea.

Good luck with the grow.:goodluck:
