I've read where people leave them go until they fall off the plant looking like "seeds". The kind your used to seeing when you plant one. I'm in your boat, I've never harvested seeds but I've read most of what is on AFN about it. Do some more digging, the info is here, just have to go get it. Whatever you do, don't chop it early, that much I can be sure of. Chop it early and you will have immature seeds that aren't worth a shite. I've seen where people cut the entire rest of the plant down but leave the branch (es) that have been pollinated to cook the seeds longer till finished.

Patience man. I know, its my biggest hurdle too. Patience.

Hey B, sorry I just saw this as I don't spend a lot of time in the breeding section. You say she is ready to chop? How many days since the you pollinated? Normally your window for good seed maturation is ~40-45 days. Just because they are green doesn't mean they aren't mature. The main thing is the amount of time to develop the cotyledon inside the seed. Plant harvest, while important, may have to be delayed a bit if you want mature seed. It really depends on pollination date. Also, once you have your seeds harvested you are going to want to treat them just like your buds. You need to allow them to dry. It is easier to dry them on the buds than to try to get them off before hand. Once they are off store then in an airtight container or you can plant them immediately. Best of luck with them! That Pyramid Purple is one that I have bred with as well. I really like that plant! Very nice sati auto.

Thanks. That was the info i needed. Today is day 86 for her and its been 3 weeks since i pollenated her. So i can wait it out now. I just wasnt sure the time range and coloration of the seed now im good.

Are you consuming the plant you sprayed? I thought that was a no no? Or are you removing the sprayed branch and the non sprayed areas are safe to use?

Thanks joedirt. I wouldn't say experienced buy enthusiastic to become experienced. I will have learned a lot but it seems like i just cant learn enough.

So i was poking at the c.s. bud where my pretty little babies were growing and one jumped right out at me. I have created Auto Purple seeds. So am i a scientist now? Lol. Ill put pics on here in a few days when i pull her.

Shes done and now in a jar. When i clipped all the water leaves off she stunted for about a week and a half. I got bud rott towards the top of the cola. I lost 7 g's to mold which is a bunch coming off a plant that does maybe 40 g's. I got a total of 20 Auto Purple x Auto Purple so i got 20 Auto Purple seeds out of this experiment. Ill have pics up tomoro of all the progress.
I can give it a premature smoke report.....soon as the buds were good to go in the jar i also figured it was good to go in the pipe.
I can say standing is not a task you want to be doing. Lol.
It has that face buzz where as if you feel like your holding your eye brows up just a little cause you can feel it relaxing every now and then as you raise them up again subconsciously.
Light body buzz.
Its not really an appetite booster.
A good all around relaxing, hanging out, evening buzz.

now you don't have to fork out 10-15 bucks a been for more seeds!!!!!
Now if I can get one of my fem seeds to be a male.
I dont want to spend the money, take a chance and get a male, but if it was a mess up by the seed co. then i would breed a batch.
