Does anybody remember buying weed when it was illegal and some of that stuff was the stinkiest of all stinky?. a single gram would fill my room with gas and oranges. wtf is that? Does that have to do with the old-school strains? Or does that have to do with the drying process? I have my weed sitting at 60% and 60°. And it’s not going to smell anywhere near stinky as that other stuff I used to buy.

What’s the difference? I know a lot of that is strain specific, but that level of smell was something else. how do you get to that level of smell??

Personally, I think 80% of all modern weed smells and tastes the same. I remember getting some Jamaican and it smelled like a spice shop! But I never got the really stinky stuff. Living where I did we were lucky get what we did find!

I’m growing some Mazar i Sharif, a landrace hashplant. When in flower she smells just like good hash!

I remember living in Florida for a time through the 80s and 90s..yep! Best i ever bought..Hash,and bud..the bud smelled like old skunk bud smuggled in a truck that carried compressed landfill blocks or something cuz it smelled like the dump,and skunk :rofl: some of thee best ive ever bought. And the hash was rumored to ha e thee smallest bit of opium in it..the smell was unrivaled by anything I’ve had before or since. Like a sweet intoxicating smell,and taste..damn id kill to have an ounce of either :laughing:

My skunk,and vanilla Re-Up does that now..fills the room with stinky yums
