Anyone use the AC infinity self wicking bases. I’ve heard great things about them. I’m wanting use them for my next run. Also I’ve always used living soil I’m wanting to switch to hp promix and wild love some advice for a good nutrient I’m new here trying to figure out the platform.

Welcome! @pop22 for sure is using some self wick or was at least. He’ll probably hop in here at some point now. I cant offer much help with them tho.
Ive only been growing for a little over a year so Ive only used Gaia Green up to this point. Those being the all purpose and the power bloom, throw in some ewc and you can grow very nice organic plants. Good yields and good trichome production. Thats how I started, as I grew I also studied, and now Im playing with adding addition amendments to make my “own” recipe.

There are definitely some people here using the self wicking bases that can help you out, like gas though, I personally have not used them.

I’m using the Tray2grows which are wicking trays. I use Tupur (coco) based living mix. Sorry havent used ACI base but do use a lot of their others products.

Heck yeah man that’s what I’m thinking about using is the Gaia green all purpose and the bloom in hp promix. What is ewc that you said you throw a little in there.
My next grow is gonna be in a 3 x 3 that is 6 feet tall under a spider farmer SE 3000 for the 6 inch in-line fan to circulating fans and humidifier. I’m gonna be probably using the AC infinity self wicking bases. I have some amazing seeds from a breeder out of Kansas and the strain is called high clouds.

Sounds like you got a nice setup going there. EWC is earth worm casting. I can recommend a basic soil recipe if you would like. I assume its an auto but I need to know auto or photo and your pot size.

I’ve got a run going on an AC Infinity setup. My first observation after trying it is that it keeps the substrate moisture level stable. I’ll have more to say once the run is finished, but so far, I like it.

Someone had a 4 pack of these on marketplace for $50 they got scooped up after a day or 2 I wish I grabbed them..ive been thinking about getting bases like these myself or building autopots tray 2 grow piece by piece when I can

I did reply to the DM. I’m liking the bases. I was skeptical at first, but my soil is moist to the surface! I did lace mine to have more wick surface area. And with 10 gallon pots, there’s no possibility of cleaning the bases… but I’m using basically plain water so they should be fine.
I got the kit with valves and a res. That will have to wait ti next grow though.

Thank you for the clarification ewc. I should have known that. Yes I’m very much interested in a new soil recipe. I’ve been using Fox farms trio with happy frog soil for a while now. Also grow peaceful soil. I’ve had good results. I’m just looking for something that’s gonna really make them explode during veg. I will be growing autos in 5 gallon fabric pots. 3gal of the hp promix, 1gal aeration(prefer pumice), 1gal ewc, 10tbsp all purpose, 5 tbsp power bloom. Water the pot and allow to “cook” for a week before planting.
1 topdress around day 25. 3tbsp all purpose, 9-12tbsp power bloom, roughly 2 cups ewc. The 9-12 depends on the size of your plant.
Small plant 9tbsp. Large or hungry plant 12tbsp. When you apply the topdress, spread the nutes down first then a layer of ewc to cover them. This is what determines the amount of ewc. You dont want a thick layer just enough to cover the nutes.
