Ok no iron. Torch it copper fittings needs to get pretty evenly hot to suck in the solder. Cut 2"-3" on either side of the hole so u have enough room to put in a short piece of copper pipe with a coupling on both sides. Clean and file the existing pipe ends the new piece between the couplings with the copper cleaning cloth as well as the inside of the couplings. Put flux on all the parts u cleaned pop it together and solder. It sounds like a lot but save yourself $600-$1200**** Most of the time u have some play with the existing copper so make it fit tight and solder away
