Could never get the hang of using the rig and flame to smoke it tho and ended up just putting it into
Normal bongs and probly wasted most of it.
Would rosin be kinda the same in texture and the high given off it.

Same high yes better flavor IMO but not texture at least for the most part I have had some rosin come out very tar almost tacky like snap and pull shatter but most is like sap gooey butter

And is this the same as that shatter stuff? Or is that different?

Generally 20% yeild is a good run and it's what I shoot for. So out of an ounce you should get anywhere from 4-6gs on average. Always depends on the material going in as well.

Green House Seed Co, Green-O-Matic rosin in glass that I pressed the other day at 195°F, for 4.5 or so minutes, in a 100 Micron.

Silicone will degrade concentrates over time. Put some rosin in a silicone jar and one in a glass or Teflon jar and it will degrade much quicker. The only two things I trust is glass and teflon. Seeing as teflon jars are super expensive I go with glass.

I've made some extremely tasty BHO in the past. I'd say if done right it's comparable. I only heat purge my chamber at like 100°F so the temps are a lot more friendly to preserving those terps.

Both have their pros and cons but I always love some good shatter.

A heat cure at 100°F, for 5 minutes or so while stirring occasionally can turn rosin to a crumble/ live resin like texture. An overnight cure in the open air can sometimes have that same effect.

How do you heat cure? Do you just use your press and kinda sandwich your jar in between them to heat it?
