Grow Mediums Reusing soil?

I usually grow 4 plants at time. Coast of Maine soil and amendments. After the harvest I dump all the soil in a tote. Add more dry amendments and water let it sit about a week and use again.
4 times is the most I have reused soil then it goes in the garden or compost pile.

I fed the root ball to my wormbin and let it sit for half a year. Now I have nice loose soil which contains all the baterial cultures and mycelia it had before and then some. The roots fed the worms during the six month period and the worms...well they had som fun in there...eating, breeding and pooping.
The kids had fun removing almost all the worms from the pile and I was left over with 60L / 16gal of soil mix ready to go when I need it.

In the past I would remove the rootball and let it decay in the compost, and set the soil aside for a few months and rotate a older batch of soil with new compost and DTE amendments. Add in some recharge and Dynomyko and go from there.
Thanks and dully noted !
As for me and my second grow, soon the harvest and the same reflection : what if I reuse the same substrate ?
I've read some threads about people doing it successfully, would like to try it in order to be ready for next grow in spring.
I will probably have to add some bennies before leaving, to keep the bacteria etc. alive.
Will be away from January 22 to March 23, maybe even April...

The soil will have to spend 4 months in a cold container in a garage, a first for me!
Do you have some additional tips in your gardener's bag ? :greenthumb:

I used biotabs by the way, what an excellent line of nutrients... verrry happy !
@BioTabs @MedCzech @Bob's Auto's and many others achieve great results with biotabs and some personal arrangements

DTE = Down To Earth

A great brand of organic amendments.
Thanx !
So basically I can leave my used substrat as it is in a tote for a few months, and some time before the next run I just have to prepare it with amendments and the like ? No need to add bacterias and the like until I use it again ?

Yes, I also turn the soil over every now and then.

If you can put worms in the soil and feed the soil , I know some use a mixture of soil worms from the garden and use compost worms

worms farms are very cool and can make good teas

also if possible search up em1 , it’s fairly easy to make and can last a while and has many good uses

my mate leaves the roots in his soil and the worms eat it and in a couple of months the soil is good again , nature always grows seasonally in the same soil

add some cannabis leaves to the soil also

another good and quick tip is grow a few mustard seeds , they grow quick and are the perfect cover crop and nitrogen fix for the soil

I’m studying soil health

Thanks for the tips !
My problem is that I will have to leave for 2 or 3 months - Tote with soil will stay in the house, but it will too cold for the worms to survive I'm afraid.

About EM yes I added some to the soil during grow, plants loved them !
