1 gallon DWC anyone?

I've got quarts goin and will update today - just transferred one to a half gallon. Using restaurant/deli containers. Baby airstones and netcups from amazon, big thing of floraflex line, floraflex "T's", air pump. The T's let you run multiple air stones from each spout off the pump.
So far everything is going super smooth but I'll tell you from experience with 5gal buckets that plants can drink a ton later on in life. With the big buckets you can comfortably go away for a weekend.
Bonus pointer: bartending equipment is super helpful for me with DWC. Tall spoons, measuring cups with nice pour spouts, etc. My #1 favorite thing is a classic "stor N pour" - a half gallon plastic container with a nice long pour spout. Perfect for top feeding, so easy to reach into any corner of a tent and navigate around the jungle.

I am in mid of setting a a diy dwc. Its a cheese puff ball container, small coffee container and then ill have to buy a small pump still. Redneck style. Haha im going to follow along your thread!

I wrapped it in foil tape because it was clear. Lol ill post some pics in a little bit. I dont have hydroton is there anything household wise i can use? Trying to make it all diy. Again this is just for fun i have tons of northern lights auto seeds to play with!
shoot i use little netcups, little layer of hydroton, rockwool cube, cover in hydroton. it only takes a little bit but feels like it plays an important role.

Rockwool for germination. Im probably just going to order rockwool and hydroton tonight. What kind of air pump do you use for such little containers?
I use a regular small aquarium airpump with adjustable power:
It has two nozzles so two lines out, but can easily split with a T like this:
To set the appropriate power I turn it all the way on full blast, make sure each cup is bubbling, then turn down until it's not so loud. When it's up too high you hear a ton of extra air from the pump. Also - Don't buy cheap Ts like I did, its worth it for legit Floraflex Ts in my opinion after trying both.
