I think the only "problem" of foxtailing is that you get buds at different stages of development, with the stuff shot out in the later stages maturing later than the buds they grow out of. With the extra mass you get, doesn't seem all bad to me!
Your temps sound bang on, maybe genetical susceptibility if it's only one plant doing it

And chopped!! 97th day from seed 69th day of flower. Wow, haven't had them out of there closet since they started flower. First pic is of the "Mutant". 2nd pic is the big girl that was on the left and last is the plant that was always to the right.
