Just a quick question to the experienced growers. I have this led light from amazon it's not the blurple that everyone shits on.

I was just wondering if I should return it asap after I order another light or just ride it out.

Can't really tell what power it has or anything. Take a clearer picture of the back to see the tag or give out more information about it.

I have ran allot of similar 300 watt size lights like that with decent returns but I ran more then one.

Can you get a link to it so I can look the specs over for you?

I'd order something better. The wattage isn't really 300w, the penetration is weak, build is outdated and there are more efficient products on the market. You will spend more though.

What's your budget and the size of the space? On the low end there is Mars and Spider farmer - they both grow plants but beyond that for price you'll pay for build quality, efficacy, spectrum, and probably a warranty.

My tent is 4'x4' I currently only have 2 plants under that light. My budget is whatever is going to grow me decent weed at a reasonable yield. If I have to open the wallet I'll probably make it happen.

My gf and I consume about 1.5 ounces a month together, so this is just a hobby to have fun and maybe grow enough to smoke my own shit exclusively.

Horticulture Lighting Group's 650r would do well. Great US company. They also have cheaper models that will cover a 4x4

GrowlightAustralia 420 Highlights are another option - top tier for spectrum from 390-800nm and 3.0umols. Best you can get on the market imo

Spiderfarmer and Mars are cheap Chinese companies using less than amazing parts but not bottom of the barrel. A lot use them here but my not my personal favorite. I prefer them to besteva/platinum/kind

BudgetLED has some nice offerings

There's ChillLED that has some great stuff

I can go on and on just depends on your budget at that point lol
