Fast Buds Perpetual Beast Grow (fast version)

So I got a blog post from Fb detailing overfeeding - and had a look at the small JH which after 2L of 5.97 water poured through the run off was 6.34 - cool, this plants been grown a la Autobeast and has big feeds twice a week. The GSC after 2L of ph'd water the run off was over 7 - it took 8L before I had the pH down to 6.2 also before I read the instructions telling this must happen over a coupla days. Arse! Certainly makes coco more appealing - daily replenishing and flush.
maybe going to coco you may take it up a level bro also i just buy ph up and down its very cheap but i look at money I'm spending on nutes and other stuff just makes my harvest so much bigger

You're right of course - I was looking at diy solutions till pocket money day, though both Canna and Biobizz do a pH down that is just citric acid and water. I was wondering if I was a mug if I used these products or not. Buying a pH down does make a tonne of sense, though I have faith in my 30+year old GCSE in chemistry (C) I'm gonna buy the stuff made by Dutch Pro as I'm on their kit presently.

Jack didn't like Megacrop and went yellow an d sulky!

and GSC never recovered from the 1ml of Overdrive, trichrome production has stopped and the smell is just coming back after I got some AN calmag in her.

So now GSC is on water and JH is on AN bloom till they finish. Calmag is much better than Andrews!

I I have found it so hard watering the autos as I put a lot of water (2L daily) which I wouldn't have done in my old life. So using coco and watering to run off should be more reassuring for me and better for the plants. Also I have very hard (Northern) water and am damaging my girls with poorly applied feeds that are too strong ( I think ). Dutch Pro do an Autoflower specific feed in a hard water version - brilliant! I believe using coir and Dutch Pro nutes will help correcting errors in my grow technique that and the Apera Value pen,+ a cheap EC metre!

Am germin a Mimosa Cake - one of Fb newest plants. She'll go in 12L even though I bought 16L pots as I'm getting a larger tent - just not sure when. But the Boss has given the big thumbs up to a house move - it's obvious I need much more space I've got grows going on with 3 mates and all my ' Man Drawers' are full!

I agree with doing your own if you know what your doing bro but I don't that's why I buy it also I find with Coco problems are easy to fix but if you feed to run off and don't overfeed them anyhow good luck on your Coco adventure growbro :d5: :vibe:

I got the wrong coco - I meant to get 70/30 but got pure coco! And this stuff is insanely heavy it took ages to get it home and I got a sunburned forehead. I wonder if Home Bargains do perlite.

pure coco is still a great option and I get mine delivered let someone else do the donkey work but at least you got a good workout :smoking:

I really need new shoes (Adidas Super Suede) but I got a pH metre and stuff.

I partial cropped the GSC - back to buds with new pistil growth where trichrome production has begun - so fingers crossed. 1ml calmag gives ec 542 (cm/s) .
The JH has still scary light green leaves - but is doing much better on 2ml/L so I'll keep doing that though its feed is 1674 ppm at 6.26 pH - that seems like a big number - especially as I 'feel' the plant is hungry.
I made 2L with 2ml Take Root which I'm putting through a capful a time every few hours. It has 268ppm. ec538 at pH 5.87. When the perlite arrives I'll make a new feed with Multitotal and Take Root to condition the coco.Dutch Pro recommend 2.75ml/L from day 1 ( not sure). I'm thinking of using 2L over a week or so. My head hurts with the maths of ec measurement - I'm getting a truncheon, I may end up looking like a tramp but I'll be smoking incredible hash!
